    Hi Di, it's me again!
I have a few store cards with GE money ( just relaised on the fsa website they have been fined for mis-selling ppi's), although i claimed a couple of years ago because i was off work through illness, can i still claim off them for mis-selling? although they were paying some in every month i still had to pay the minimum monthly amount

You could not claim for mis-selling. You have used the policy and claimed benefit from it. However, there are other issues surrounding PPI that can be claimed and those issues are not decided by whether you made a claim on the policy or not.

It is much more difficult to claim on the issues I refer to on cards as the ppi is not a single premium policy. The cover is monthly payment cover. Unless you have very large card balances with ppi it is very difficult to get a lawyer to fight on such a case because teh clainm amount would be relatively low.

However, I have since seen the light.

Thanx Peter, they all have approx £450 on each card ie asda x2, dp top shop. I was never asked by the assistants in store when i opened the accounts if i wanted ppi, I just had to sign the credit agreement.

Hi i wondered if someone could help me,
I was mis-sold the PPI for HSBC CC and have sorted out my letters to send to them regarding it but does anyone know where i send it to?
Do i just send it to my branch or is there some sort of special address where they should all go?

As long as you did not sign a full and final settlement agreement there is always the oportunity to go back if you find something more serious than mis-selling.

This has always been an issue. Lenders will, more and more in the future, insist that individuals sign such agreements as they know very well that there are other issues that will cost them far more than just returning the premiums.

The amounts you are talking about are miniscule in comparison to some single premium policies.
You never know you may need the cover some time.

Hi Peter could you please makes clear for us that If you feel you have been miss sold PPI and you have made a claim on the Policy you cannot claim through the usual methods e.g. Writing claiming back and FOS . Is it correct that FOS will not be interested and that the only way is to go through alternative means e.g. courts etc.

Please clarify this as we keep getting different opinions on this but nobody is backing it up. Di and I would be please to know.;)
    Thank you Peter
