    Hello there,

This is a standard letter from Lloyds and means your complaint has been upheld ( the result, well done :j) and the way in which they will set about working out what they will pay you back, ie. your ppi payment refunded + any interest on this amount (the loan apr) and then 8% simple interest. All is ship shape and nothing to worry about :D

They will send the figures out soon and if you think they are incorrect you can post them up here and the brains like niggly & Co. will check them out for you ;)

    hope that helps :D

ps. does your return envelope have a colour marking on it botttom left?
:p:D:p Perfer et obdurai dolor hic tibi proderit olim :p:D:p

  • Sorry I'll rephrase that....

The return envelope for my acceptance had a green highlighter dot on the envelope. What does this mean?

    Hi
Quick question, has anyone had an email response when they emailed Ian O'Doherty at MBNA and if so how quickly?
Don't want to harrass them but seeing as they are giving me the runaround don't want them resting on their laurels.

This is the timeline so far

7th Jan 2011 Letter Confirming receipt response with 28 days
2nd Feb Letter saying investigations taking longer than anticapted response due 2nd March 2011
Missing letter received in March stating paperwork had bee misplaced and could I resend
5th May Letter saying would have a response in 28 days
23rd May Letter saying investigations taking longer than anticipated and response due 20th June
20th June Letter saying due to unforeseen circumstacnes taking longer to resolve response due within 21 days
24th June Letter saying insuffiecient info

The info was on the FOS questionnaires and has now been sent 3 times!
    Emailed him on Monday 5/9
    Thanks Glimmer

Hi Glimmer, i found them really helpful when i emailed them, they always responded within the two days of me emailing them & the times they didnt respond, i emailed them again!!haha....bet they were glad to get rid of me :rotfl:. But like the others say, it takes nothing to be nice and i was always pleasant when emailing them & i think it makes a difference ;) Good luck:T:Txx

    Hi
    Advice required please.

have just phoned barclays regarding ppi claim (went in on 27/05/11) to be told that it is at the calculation stage. Does this mean it has been upheld? the lady on the phone couldn't tell me that it had she just said it was with calculations & everything will be in their next letter to me.????

It sounds good bez, dont think it would need to go to calcs if it was not getting upheld. Good luck :T:Txx
