In Transit Purchase Protection
Now excuse me for sounding dumb here, are these forms of PPI?
Thanks in advance0 -
Hi there, Mine might be different because it was Lloyds but all I gave was the loan account numbers, I didnt know how much they were for or the dates of them! All they wanted on the phone was my name, current address and what really surprised me was they didnt even ask why I was missold it! I gave them all the loan numbers in one phone call.
The ones that I have been successful with I've only ever said that I felt I wouldnt get the loan without taking the ppi and that I was never told that I could get it elsewhere cheaper. The ones that I have won have all been using the template letter.
I was really nervous phoning as I felt I might be given the third degree about the missell but nothing was said:) Go for it, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain:TWell done on your santander claim:T
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.:A
Will take your advice.......stop thinking about it and go for it! Wish me luck!:)
Good luck with yours! Please keep us updated!x0 -
wooa I have just had a thought you paid off the loan in full so my figures are correct. However looking through the scenarios from the halifax you will also get 8% on the ppi cash price. Your day is about to get better. When did the loan start I know it finished November 10.
Get back to me quick as £2914.99 x 8% = £233.20 x N =£x
£233.20 x N =£x N = the number of years you had the loan for.
Cheers Niggly:beer:
"I am the one that you want ooo honey" where are you. I am assuming that the term was 5 years so you will recieve another £1166 in interest. Yes add this on to the above interest which is just the interest from November to October 2011 (assumed settlement date)
Hi the loan was taken out in October 2004. From memory I think it was taken out before a previous loan finished (with Halifax as well). Is this what they mean by refinancing. Will this affect the amount.
Thanks.
