Hi the loan was taken out in October 2004. From memory I think it was taken out before a previous loan finished (with Halifax as well). Is this what they mean by refinancing. Will this affect the amount.
Thanks.

Okay has I posted last night whilst you were lusting after JT. I have the scenarios that Halifax sent with the acceptences. Because you finishe the loan you will also get 8% on the cash price of the loan for he duration of the loan. This means
£233.20 x N =£x N = the number of years you had the loan for
£233.20 x 7 = £1632.40 in interest which is on top of the PPI with interest and 8% figure I gave early.
If a previous loan was incorporated into this one then there may be further compensation as well. This could be fairly substantial if you had ppi and oaid it for a while before refinancing as they need to take this into account as well. They have to under the FOS rules.
That should drive off the rain.

They dont put that you have not got this, only if you have it.
With this being a cc it may not be on your agreement but could have been added at a later date,if you have it,then it will show on your monthly statement.0 -

we took out a claim against Natwest and we were succesful and they agreed to pay us £4700. We sent the signed paper back to them at the end of June accepting their offer. The paper said we would be payed in full within 28 days, it is now 7 weeks and no sign of the money.
My Husband rang them last week and they promised to have the cheque in the post that afternoon. We are still waiting. I rang the ombudsman but they have such a backlog of cases they couldn't help. can anybody advice me on what to do next or on how long we are going to have to wait for this money?
Thanks
Just to let you know we recieved our cheque this week thanks for your advice
