I am now claiming for compensation of damages from:

    The Royal Bank of Scotand
    MNBA
    Capital One.

    WHY ?

I took out PPI's with all 3. I was told at the time that I was covered being self employed. ALL 3 BANKS LIED TO ME.
When attempting to claim, they all had their own sob stories about why I could not claim. I claimed because the recession had damaged my business and could not afford my monthly payments.

Despite numerous letters, all 3 used "fob off" tactics. They employed debt collectors who harassed me, they damaged my credit file, and everything they did was illegal.

    Administration of Justice Act 1970
Clearly states that is illegal for a creditor to harass a debtor if the account is in dispute

RBS - MNBA - CAPITAL ONE are in breach of this act AS PROBABLY ALL BANKS ARE

    THE FRAUD ACT 2006
This one is not rocket science, it is very clear. Probably everyone who has a PPI, was misold by the eager salesman for commission.

Did the person who sold you the PPI make a false representation to you about the product ..... if they did, IT IS FRAUD

Do you think the person who sold you the PPI did so to make gain for themselves .... if they did, IT IS FRAUD

Were you told you would be covered only to find later you were not ... if this happened, IT IS FRAUD

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS FRAUD ?
whilst one may think it is the salesperson, in reality it is the responsibilty of the Banks and the rules applied by the DTI, OFT

If any of the above has happened to you, if you have been damaged by fraudulent Banks who sold you "a pup" then claim compensation for damages from them.

I HAVE A TEMPLATE AVAILABLE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS IT
This is a Claim for compensation and damages.
If any bank has damaged you, it is your right to claim

Either PM me or let me know your email address I will send it to you

    hi there,
I'm going to show my ignorance again, can someone please tell me the signifance of single premium PPI, I have read on some threads that some of the complaints regarding misselling of single premium PPI are being upheld, is it because of the interest being added on, or is it if you cancel outwith cooling off period you only get some of premium back?
Sorry for appearing thick just want to get my head round it!
Have 2 loans with this - I think! I have mentioned single premium PPI with loan 2, but not with loan 1, the loan was with funding company and have rejected complaint, but have told us to get back to them if unhappy, we are currently waiting for a reply from SAR, we will then proceed, should we mention this as part of our redress of complaint?
Just want to make sure - are these examples of frontloaded PPI?
loan amount was £12,000, total payable £15,745.60 APR 11%
    PPI
    amount of credit £2604
    total amount payable £3419
    APR 11%
    loan 2
    amount of credit (a) £6750
    cash advance (b) £1464.60
amount of credit sainsbury's creditcare gold (c) £2741.17
    interest on S SG (d) £594.23
    APR 7.7%
Can anyone also explain this to me -
Insurance premium tax is included in the none life elements of your premium at 5% this was with loan 2!

    Thanks again

Has anyone here taken out a credit card which is run by MNBA, Virgin money is one of them.

Were you told that you were covered by their PPI for your circumstances

DID YOU EVER RECEIVE A POLICY FROM MNBA ?

Did you only receive a policy after your tried to claim ?

Were you told that the PPI was operated by a Southern Irish group called St Andrews ?

Were you told that this was underwritten by the Lloyds Banking Group ?

If you did receive a copy of your PPI policy, what was it like, mine for example was sent after I claimed and it was a tatty photocopy THAT HAD NO BEARING of what was told to me by MNBA

Can we please have information from you as the chances are you have been subjected to fraud

After 2 years of fighting this miserable bunch of so called bankers, after writing to their CEO, one day the other week just out of the blue, they advised me that they would repay PPI payments of £500

VERY ODD, I have dozens of letters from Capital One saying they would not refund and that I had been sold the policy correctly ??

    CHANGE OF HEART THEN :T

They went on to say that as they sold the debt to a collection agency, they would forward the money to them instead.

As per my post earlier regarding the Adminstration of Juctices Act, they ignored all correspondence which was illegal as my account was in dispute.
This ignorant bank then sold it to Arrow Global Limited.
As I pointed out to Capital One, more fool the debt collector for buying something that was in dispute. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have now added their repayment proposal to my claim for compensation adding another £500

What is your experience with Capital One

    Hi
You seem very angry at the banks and I don’t blame you. I had allot of trouble with MBNA they disgust me. They were the first to give me a credit card when I was young (only just out of school) they raised the credit limit almost every 4 months without taking into account my income or other debts. I take responsibility for the way I handled my money I overspent I was young and very silly with money but they did seem to take full advantage of this every step of the way. When it came to the crunch, when all credit cards were maxed, banks would offer me no more consolidation loans and my bank Lloyds TSB helpfully suggested I declared myself bankrupt! This was at the age of 19 and the job that I always wanted to do (the job I now actually do) does not allow bankrupts undischarged or otherwise so I could never have considered taking this option. I chose to go with a debt management company who restructured all of my debt using the consumer credit act so I only paid back on a monthly basis what I could afford. I am happy to say that most of my creditors took into account my situation and did not cause a fuss about the lower monthly payments, most of them reduced or froze the interest and I think acknowledged that I was doing the best I could to pay back every penny of the money I owed. This is with the exception of MBNA, I can not tell you how evil they became, constant phone calls, threatening letters, charges galore, refusal to engage with the debt management agency, refusal to accept the restructured payment...the list is endless! I currently have a PPI claim going through with them at the moment but they certainly did effect my credit rating the most and the PPI charges are astronomical with this company and I feel very aggrieved by the fact that this was added to my account without my knowledge and had a massive impact on the minimum payment. I would be grateful if you would send me your template in regard to damages. The fraud legislation that you posted does cover what has happened in most cases but there are massive of defences that would be raised and I think since the banks have now lost a civil court case being made to pay back money it may be viewed as sufficient restorative justice. Have you taken your concerns to the police in relation to this?
  • Hi :) wonder if any one can help... am looking for contact details for Capital Bank the number I have on paperwork takes me to Black Horse for some reason, they say they not affiliated in anyway... have a car credit agreement dating back from 2004 states on it

    A total cash price .. £7245.00
    B less deposit - £500
    C Amount of credit (A-B) - £6745.00
D Charges £1430.06??? have no idea what this is no where on the agreement does it detail what this charge is for
    E Acceptance Fee £95.00
    F Credit Facility Fee -£65.00
    G Total charge for Credit (D+E+F) APR 9.7 - £1590.06
    H Balance payable - £8335.06

Want to find out what this £1430.06 charge is as I know I didnt agree to any PPI and didnt receive any paperwork etc relating to it, was quite naive to be honest salesman had said lets do it this way how much do u want to pay a month, I said around £130.... he came back with £132.93 I signed paper work and that was it.
