• Ok, thanks. Time to get spending.
• we took out a claim against Natwest and we were succesful and they agreed to pay us £4700. We sent the signed paper back to them at the end of June accepting their offer. The paper said we would be payed in full within 28 days, it is now 7 weeks and no sign of the money.

My Husband rang them last week and they promised to have the cheque in the post that afternoon. We are still waiting. I rang the ombudsman but they have such a backlog of cases they couldn't help. can anybody advice me on what to do next or on how long we are going to have to wait for this money?

Thanks

I sent off a claim to HSBC for a loan which I've now completed. However, on the letter they have sent to say they have received the complaint they also list 2 previous loans which were consolidated into the one I've just finished paying off, Does this mean that they are looking into all 3?

Make sure your debts are clear first, then spend:D Oh and as my old granny used to say - don't spend it all in one shop!

If you can scan in the letter your received and send it as an attachment to stephen.hester@rbs.co.uk he's their CEO Natwest/RBS are the same. Although to be on the safe side i know alot of places including RBS/Natwest have been given 8 weeks to make their payments/calculations but no harm in emailing to chase it up, if you have a customer service email that you may have already been using copy them into as well.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

The FSA have advised banks that they should look at all loans on a customer's history if it had ppi on it when a complaint has been made about one of them, so yes they will be looking at all three.

Good luck and keep us posted on your journey and success.:D
