    Hi Lisa

If you contact them by phone or email, give them the account number details, ask them to confirm if any PPI this should save you £10 on a SAR then, because just as long as you have the account numbers and your reasons you can continue to make a reclaim.

However if you do decide to SAR, enclose both account numbers on the same request, £10 cheque or postal order will cover for both and for infact everything you have taken out with them.
There is a SAR letter template below if you want to use that one, good luck.

    Thanks Di
I have phoned Black Horse up and they were brilliant they gave me all the info i needed over the phone including that I had no ppi on these loans as they were 0% interest, but your advice saved me £10 :j
Keep up the good work everyone:T

Think I will SAR them just to make sure then

Another question I have enough money to pay off my credit card 4k but worried that if I pay it off it may effect my claim, does it make any difference to the claim please, if the accounts live or paid off
Thanks again for all you wonderful help and support

    Hi Lisa

Nothing will effect anything, and it makes no difference if you make a reclaim on active or settled accounts, so not to worry, good luck on this.;)

  • Hi

I'm about to start claiming back the extra care insurance from littlewoods as I didn't need and was never given any info regarding it, so i thought i would sar them first which i did they have sent me the info with a reconstituted cca nothing on the cca about extra care. The thing is I tried to place an order with them yesterday and it says 'credit rejected' I called them and they said its because I have not sent back a signed credit agreement, I have been ordering from them since 2006. They said have posted agreement out i have to signed it and return.

Should i send in letter to claim back extra care before signing?

    Thanks in advance
  • Hi all, my husband took out a mortgage with hsbc in 1995, he was told at the time of getting this mortgage that the repayment protection insurance on this mortgage was compulsory and without it, it would not be approved. In 2005 he found himself unemployed and was told that this insurance would not cover him. We ended up getting into arrears with the mortgage and were forced to sell before the property was repossessed. We have been in rented accommodation since. Would we be able to claim back?

    Many thanks in advance.
