Got another claim sorted and completed tonight ready to go recorded on Monday. BOS credit card claim, finally found some statements with the payment protection on it, it went back to when my OH got the card circa 2003, we cancelled the cover in 2009 as it was a waste of time and because there was a fair balance on it there was the extra amount of £30-40 each month, looks like an interesting amount using the calculator I had.
Will hopefully be hearing sometime next week from Clydesdale, 8 weeks is up on Tuesday but will probably get another letter asking for more time, either that or a rejection!
One more thing to check on which was GE Money, and going digging with spades, forks, drills and everything else that can break through mountains of paperwork to try and find the paperwork for it. Wish me luck for the morning!! hehe
Thanks to all the competition posters.

Congratulations :j sorry to sound a bit naive :( is Big Ste, the guy at Group customer relations. I,ve emailed the CEO and got the usual 10 working days but nothing more....

Mr Stephen Hester CEO of RBS. The one that rather accidently and used tax payers money to give his chums a bonus, even though 3 years ago them same chums had almost financially nuked themselves and the country - Good old BIG STE!:(

Does anyone have a contact email for Opus Cards? Not a whisper from them since put on hold in March 2011. When I did get through on the telephone in May they did not give me any proposed time schedule. Still nothing.
    Thanks.

    Hi

I have not found the email address as yet, will keep searching though, I take it the details you rang are the ones on the Opus website?

Checked the paperwork this morning, no ppi on the GE money thing which was just a couple of grand for some home improvement stuff. No worries though, happier knowing I didn't have it on the loan in the first place.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

In the 'about us' section they are also part of Bank of Scotland or HBOS or Lloyds banking Group if this helps any.

Thank you for that - I have managed in the past to speak to them on the phone but just get the usual fob off answers.
    Was thinking of emailing CEO.

Would it be worth emailing BOS, HBOS and Lloyds?? Think I will start making a nuisance of myself as that seems the only way to get anywhere at the moment.

Good one, at least you know.;) Always best to check these things in case its hidden somewhere in the paperwork, as that has been known to happen.

Well their CEO must be the same as BOS, HBOS and LLoyds, which would Senor Osario, further back in this thread will be the email address, or perhaps if Di has it handy she could post it for you.
Thanks to all the competition posters.
