Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, my connections are playing up terrible today, and I keep losing it, my head too lol,:o:D.

maybe the email addy for the sultan of brunei so beamer can ask for a nice big cheque,come to think of it,i could do with that too lol.:)

Had a reply from the CEO's office at Santander today re my claim for a Dorothy Perkins Card (very quick I only emailed him 2 days ago!!) Basically it says that they are still rejecting my claim on the ground that I could've cancelled it at any time including when they upgraded it in 1998 (at no request by me!), I was free to claim on the insurance and there is no proof of a missell on their part. I can however go to the FLA if I'm not happy at their decision (for what it's worth I already have). The ombudsman has also sent me info for the underwriters so I will complete more forms this evening and send them off!
In the letter he apologises that I was given wrong information by his claims dept (they told me no monies had been paid since Sept 1998 and I had several statements from much later proving tht I was still paying at). As way of apology he is sending me £30!! whoopee doo.
It was quite ironic really I rang my 13 year old daughter since I'm in work to see if any mail had arrived for me and she told me there seemed to be a very important letter so I go her to open it and read it to me over the phone such was my suspense. She got to the part about the £30 cheque and said 'as an apology we are sending you a cheque for three, zero, zero, zero pounds, £3,000 I thought result!! I was jumping around the office like someone not wise :j:jwhen I happened to ask is there a decimal point in the amount anywhere to which she replied 'hold on to I look again, yes Mum there is it's after the first zero' £30.00 thirty pounds !! Back to the drawing board I guess lol!!

Now I seem to be having prbs opening links, they're taking forever :mad:, but if you look below this is what myself and Marshallka had also posted on the resources thread, its the link to all CEO addresses, most are there but any probs let me know and I shall try looking in hope my puter will wake up.:eek::)

Thanks, and thanks Di to you and the others on here for all your help, I wouldn't have had the first clue what to do if it wasn't for all the advice on this site.
I am going to have to try to be patient which will be a first in 46 years lol!!

hi bflare , i put my claim in on 26th april got a letter 2 weeks later saying they will get in contact by the 23rd of june i got the letter saying its still under investigation and they now have untill 16th aug . i gave them a call today and they have looked at the complaint but still need more time to investigate i asked if it would be resolved by aug and she dident know she said i could get another letter requesting more time ! i thought they had to come to a desicion by then just gonna wait and hope x x
