  • Hi

I posted at the beginning of Jan as we sent RBS a PPI reclaim letter.
We posted it recorded delivery and it was received 10.1.09. We were advised to send directly to the person dealing with our claim at our branch. This we did. Now we have been told that she cannot find any paper agreements whcih will go in our favour but she has only just faxed it to the PPI claim department and the 8 weeks starts from 25.2.09, when the claim department received the fax!!
The hold up was due to the fact she was looking for the paper agreements.
Also, we have cancelled the PPI as it was woth £80.00 plus each month but they have charged us the same loan amount for the last 2 months and we keep having to call them to get the money back.

Surely we don't have to wait 8 weeks again just necause it has been sitting on her desk!!

Given that we have had numerous loans from RBS and our mortgage is with them we feel very unfairly treated given our loyalty.

Please advise, the 8 weeks is up on 9th March.

This PPI claim actually involves 3 loans as we re loaned on 2 occassions going back about 8 or 9 years so this could involce a lot of money!

    Thanks
    Julie

Call the FOS and explain the situation, they should tell you how to proceed.

Can't reconcile the PPI figures with the first agreement (or 2nd one) (--is there another account involved)

Need dates at start & closure

How did you calculate your figures in your initial letter?--can't follow them?

I think this is going to be very complicated to help- you!

    Hi Turbo,
Thanks for getting back to me.
The second account, I have never been sent any information on but it was re-written in May 2005. As for my calculation I used the information the photo bucket paperwork their letter that they sent me does not tie in with what I have, I have always suspected that they have different info to what they gave me? this is literally all the information I have on this account and absolutely nothing on the second account just a letter which is worded as a brand new loan, that is it...
    What can I do?

    Thanks in advance
Chicqa.. On a mission, brace yourself....
