Is this correct or is it dodgey?
Has anyone heard of them?

Do it yourself for the cost of a recorded letter, and that is all the solicitors will do!!!!
If you have ppi and have reasons for mis sell then put a claim in.

Hi guys,
As anyone had any luck claiming back PPI from RBS. I have a credit card from them from 2006 which im paying PPI on and im thinking of putting a claim in for it. The problem is i cant remember discussing PPI with them when i took the card out. Should i still send the questionaire off to them and see what they say?
Also just looking back online over a loan i also had with RBS at the start of the of the loan theres a payment for over £1200 called an insurance payment. Sorry for being thick but is this what i can also attempt to claim back?
Any help appreciated, Cheers0 -

The credit card i just cant remember but with the loan a mate sorted it out for me when he worked at the bank so i know he wouldnt of told me about it. Thicko time again PPI on a loan is it paid monthly or is it in one lump sum like i have showing on my online statement on the loan?0

On a loan it is put on at the start and is included in the monthly repayment , for a cc it is an amount shown monthly.
Ring your cc provider and ask if you had ppi on, or look at a statement.0 -
Cheers
so i have been paying it on them both. Looks like ill be putting 2 claims in then.0 -

What was the original amount of ppi? i bet the refund you got was the small amount of rebate they give.
Put another letter in and tell them you do not accept this, as the ppi was frontloaded and you are still paying this to term end with interest and the ppi amount is still on the loan even though you cancelled this.
You want ppi paid to date returning to you and the loan reset without the ppi on.
Put that if you do not get a satisfactory reply to this letter you will be taking this to the financial ombudsman.
Let us know what answer you get from them.0
