Have heard a firm of solicitors on the radio called Hindle Campbell, I rang them asking about a PPI refund and they said i can claim 100% of the compensation and they do all the work,

Is this correct or is it dodgey?

    Has anyone heard of them?
If you think you were mis sold ppi, take a look here
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
Do it yourself for the cost of a recorded letter, and that is all the solicitors will do!!!!
If you have ppi and have reasons for mis sell then put a claim in.
You will get all the help you need on this site for free.

Sure they will give you 100% of it, probably due to it being 'in a cheque. However they WILL charge you for something that would take a mere 10 minutes of your time.
Maybe 15 minutes depending on how far away your post office is to send it recorded :D:D

    Hi guys,

As anyone had any luck claiming back PPI from RBS. I have a credit card from them from 2006 which im paying PPI on and im thinking of putting a claim in for it. The problem is i cant remember discussing PPI with them when i took the card out. Should i still send the questionaire off to them and see what they say?

Also just looking back online over a loan i also had with RBS at the start of the of the loan theres a payment for over £1200 called an insurance payment. Sorry for being thick but is this what i can also attempt to claim back?

    Any help appreciated, Cheers

On a loan it is put on at the start and is included in the monthly repayment , for a cc it is an amount shown monthly.
Ring your cc provider and ask if you had ppi on, or look at a statement.

What was the original amount of ppi? i bet the refund you got was the small amount of rebate they give.
Put another letter in and tell them you do not accept this, as the ppi was frontloaded and you are still paying this to term end with interest and the ppi amount is still on the loan even though you cancelled this.
You want ppi paid to date returning to you and the loan reset without the ppi on.
Put that if you do not get a satisfactory reply to this letter you will be taking this to the financial ombudsman.
Let us know what answer you get from them.
it states at bottom of letter final response so dont think there is anymore they will do
