Di, Thank you for MBNA email address. Sent email yesterday but today received a letter saying could they have 21 days more, although I could send it to FOS if I wished.
Also in the post, 2 letters from RBS re NatWest PPI saying still gathering information and then a further one saying waiting on JR and BBA appeal decision so on hold, plus 2 letters from FOS saying Barclays complaints could take well over a year to investigate. They were placed on hold some time ago so sent to FOS.
It's just a waiting game.

Please can somone help? I currently have a complAint with the society of lloyds which is the insurers of a firstplus loan. I have had to pursue the insurer as it was taken in 2001, my question is the news that lloyds will not be appealing how will this affect my complaint? Will it help it? Sorry if this sounds a silly q I just don't get it all x

Hiya

Due to the Lloyds news, its now looking hopeful for all complaints they are dealing with, it doesn't sound silly - you bound to be curious.;)
What you could do is email Customer Services, enclose them your Case ref complaint details and ask further, they will be able to confirm.
Good luck.

Email address to Customer Services here....
customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

In my experience they do tend to get back either the same day or the following day, although its Friday today, if you don't hear, then it will be Monday otherwise.:)

Letter sent to First Plus today, recorded delivery off course.

Just a waiting game now, just trying to figure out who is next.

...

Got a reply today.

They will be looking into my concerns and will replay by 1st June.

They have asked me to fill in the FOS questionnaire and return it within 10 days.

Is this necessary?

Hiya

Arh right, I'm really not sure, will try getting some info, but meanwhile email the address given and they will know, you could also ask them if this is not the correct company if they would be kind enough to email them to you.;)
