Quick question guys.
If the court case falls in favour of the people, what would actually happen? Would the banks suddenly start to deal with cases or do you think they will start other delaying tactics?0 -
goingcrazy wrote: »Recently I subscribed to MSE and started reading about Missold PPI's. I have read about how to reclaim and still unsure about the first letter that I should write. I had a loan from barclays bank with ppi and I am within the six year limit. This was actually the second loan taken out. So anxious to get the ball rolling. I have the start date of the loan, the amount I was payng, the reference number but no other details. I have always been registered as self-employed with barclays bank. So when I applied for the loan had no idea that the ppi was optional and felt that I had to take the ppi otherwise my request would be rejected. So could someone pls tell me which is the first letter to be written. I thank you in advance.
Thank you Di 3004 for your advise. When I first posted that enquiry, I wrote to barclays requesting terms and conditions. They have finally replied.
"Unfortunately, we can no longer abtain copies of your loan agreement. This documents are kept for a maximum of six years".
However I do know that I had PPi ttached to the loan. I know how much I borrowed and what I paid monthly, unfortunately do not know how much of it was for PPi. Can I still fill in the reclaiming questionaire and send it in?0 -
Hi there, you have the agreement number and that is all they will need, if you have any details of the first loan, then put that in also, so put your claim in. Good luck with this.goingcrazy wrote: »Thank you Di 3004 for your advise. When I first posted that enquiry, I wrote to barclays requesting terms and conditions. They have finally replied.
