    Hiya Evie

Good luck on the reclaiming, now they have a few don't they?

    Check this out here.....

This office/department below only deals with claims for mis-sold PPI schemes

    Tel 0161 755 7029

    PPI Customer Concerns Team
    Royal Bank of Scotland Group
    PO BOX 833
    5th Floor
    1 Hardman Boulevard
    Manchester
    M3 3AQ

I would think its the above address, for reclaiming ppi on credit card and loans.

You could double check by ringing the above number if you want to, or maybe someone will clarify on this, good luck.;)

    Hi Di,
Wow, that was a quick response! Thanks a lot, I will give it a go.;)

  • Hi Di & co,
On the last lap now (I hope!) with helping colleague to reclaim PPI. I've been looking through some old posts for the addressfor Lloyds TSB as I know that lots of people have sent claims in, but can't find it. Typical! If anyone can oblige I would be very grateful.

  • In a meeting with a branch manager at Lloyds TSB i handed in a complainted about mis sold PPI. This was about a month ago, i have since spoke with lloyds on the phone and they say they have not recieved the complaint or it hasnt been processed yet.

I am just wondering wether to cancel the PPI as I am going to pay off my loan with a 0% balance transfer credit card or wait untill I hear back about the complaint?

They have said if I pay of my loan now i will get a £300 rebate but my PPI is approximatly £1000. I am unsure if cancelling the PPI at this point and paying off the loan will effect my claim! Please can you offer me some advice. Obviously the longer I stay with the loan the more interst I will have to pay.

    Thanks,

    Gailkr

    Hi and welcome

I would maybe hold back on the cancellation until you know where you are on this claim, but you are entitled to cancel at any time.

I would not take them seriously if you dealt with this through the branch and would go the right direction of making a reclaim through the main dept yourself here....

    Lloyds PPI
    Customer Care
    Lloyds TSB Insurance
    Tredegar Park
    Newport
    South Wales
    NP10 8SB
    Tel 0845 3005599
    Fax 01633 468835

Its always best to deal with these matters in writing.

If you still have a copy of the letter you gave to the branch then send that to the above address, they have 8 weeks to respond and give a decision.

I would also post by recorded delivery, so they cannot deny receiving your complaint.

Did you follow the guidelines of reclaiming on this website?
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

Because the first template reclaiming letter have been replaced by a FOS questionnaire, these were issued by the financial ombudsman service (FOS) for people to use to make a reclaim and send to whoever sold and set up the policy.

If you click on the above link, you will see the FOS questionnaire further down that page as stage one.

Remember to keep a copy as well for your own records, and in case you need to refer to it again.

Hope this helps, please keep us posted, and good luck.;)

Thanks Di - as always you're a star! Have just noticed their address must be quite near where you are? You could have taken the letter down there and dropped it off for me! Thanks x

Following on from my post a page back, going to go into the bank with my mate to discuss restructuring his loan so it no longer has PPI....

They had said that while investigations are ongoing the branch will arrange a new loan without protection and for the outstanding balance on your existing loan to be repaid. New loan will be on the same basis/interest rates/time frame honoured etc.

Now, I’ve read on here that some people have gone in to restructure their loan only to be told the payments are infact the same each month.. or sometimes even more!!!

The current loan agreement is below, he’s now paid off more than half of the loan as the balance is down from £18680 to £7472.
I would have expected the new loan to say he’ll be paying about £250 back per month instead of the current £311....? does that sound right or am I completely missing something
Just wanted a rough idea of what to expect before we go in there really

    Massive thanks for any help

Hi there, thanks for posting this up, its very useful.

I am not good at the workings out side of things but hopefully someone will be along to check this through at some point very soon.
I think Robbedofmymoney is away for a few days, not sure what day he comes back, so is there a time limit on this?

I assumed the monthly repayments would be less a month, maybe others will be able to clarify on this matter for you soon, the best of luck.;)

Probably going in next Saturday so got a week for someone to take a look through things so should be ok

    Thanks
