    Hi Di,
I shall keep emailing them every 2 days and my letter this week will go to Eric Daniels directly.

Bugsy, just a suggestion, could you maybe contact the FSA perhaps, tell them the trouble your having, on one of mine before they got back and told me they were going to contact Lloyds and if I remember correctly within that week, we received the money.

This was a few months back now though, but just a suggestion.;)
    Good luck X

I never thought of that. Thanks Di.
I will give Lloyds the 28 days (until 28th August) as per the FOS instructions to see if they comply but I will phone the FSA for some guidance.
Will let you know how I get on.

That's okay bugsy, it was in-fact my hubby that just reminded me lol, so thought I should mention it to you, just in case.;)

Hopefully it won't go that far though, fingers crossed. X

i am currently waiting for EGG to get back to me with regards PPI on the loan i had, i have found the original agreement i have (my copy of it)

there is a place on it when i had to sign to agree to the PPI, im guessing i must of signed this, so am i wondering if everyone else who is claiming off EGG must have signed exactly the same as me?

im worried i havent got a case because i signed it :(

hi, i would wait to see what they say,
just because you have signed for it it doesn't mean you have not been miss-sold it.

i have signed for all of my ppi in the past, but i was wrongly and poorly advised and subsequaently found out it was of no use to me what so ever, and have won my cases, so providing your reasons are valid you will have no problem.

good luck and let us know how you get on

    cheers
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free

i think i was mis-sold all the PPI, i have a stable job, very good pay, and if i am sick, then i get full pay for 12 months, if made redundant i get 4 weeks pay for each year i have worked, so it would cover the loan amount, i was basically told on the phone that if i took the PPI i would definately get the loan etc, so i just signed it, in stupidity i guess!!

    Hi there,

I'm just about to send a request for my T&Cs for an old Abbey cc account. The actually lender was MBNA but I got the card via Abbey. As Santander took over Abbey, should I send my letter to Santander or MBNA?

:AHi there, i sent the first stage letter off to my bank Natwest re the PPI charges about 3 weeks ago. Today i received a pathetic compliments slip with "list of ppi charges, ppi was not applied via your app form, it was done via a card activation call" with a list of all the PPI charges from March 2008 to July 2010. No name, no number nothing, is this acceptable? Also, what do i do now? I can't believe i have received such an un-professional response from a major bank! I'm actually in shock, any advice would be MUCH appreciated! I'm guessing i just fill out the 2nd letter and send that off to Natwest?

    Regards
    Bobbie

P.s. I apologise for not posting a new thread as i dont know how to lol.
  • Thanks - much appreciated. I will give it a go and see where it takes me.

    Thanks again
