Sometimes I think everyone needs a reality check!! Believe me, there are people out there who genuinely need their reclaims faster than us!

Got another Email from FSCS, still finalising their investigation into Pictures solvency. No timescale as to when they will be writing to me about my claim.

How does this work, if they are insolvent?? Is your claim against the FSCS then??

Hello nee naw, Picture has gone into Liquidation and the FSCS are investigating whether Picture have enough money to payout on the claims against it. If they think they do then all claims have to go back to the FOS.
If they think Pictre have no money , the FSCS will pay part of the compensation that would be awarded if you have a claim by the FSCS rules.

Its ok, its just not as straight forward as some cases, I just have to wait and see if the FSCS think I have a claim by their rules and this cant happen til they know Picture have no money!

Really hoping someone can help with this...

I had a Barclays Masterloan that ended in 2004. I am 100% certain that they said I needed to take out the PPI as I was pretty annoyed about this at the time but in no position to argue. I rang Barclays today to be told that they don't have information on their system going back that far and also that they have never told anyone that they need to get PPI.

That can't be true can it? And where do I go from here as I stupidly don't have the loan agreements so how can I get them? Can I write to them without a loan agrrement number?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer any advice!

I claimed back three loans with Barclaycard Masterloan for somebody else. All had PPI. They were 2002 then two in 2004 all refinanced. Took it to the FOS and got all three PPI back. Well they uphelp complaint.

They missold the loans by firstly calling the PPI a Premium Loan which was very confusing. The person I was claiming back for also said that they were told over the phone when they took the Loans out that the loan could not be guaranteed without the PPI.

Write back to them reiterating your complaint give them 14 days to reply and tell them you will take it to the FOS. Good Luck and make sure you are clear on the way that it was miss sold if that is what you believe.
