Your still able to send the CEO an email even its its waiting with the FOS, to chase this up, sometimes they agree with you, just as long as you send them a copy and keep them updated.;)
Edit: Arh right, its okay lots of posts lol, so your complaint is still waiting to be seen by an adjudicator then, I take it this is what you mean?
Sorry, I have not had the chance to look back on posts. X
Original complaint to Lloyds TSB 01/10/2007.
My complaint went to the Ombudsman 29/01/2008.
My complaint was seen by an adjudicator on the 15/02/2010.
He found in my favour on the 25/02/2010 and wrote to Lloyds with his decision and the reasons why.
Lloyds ignored decision and did not respond.
Now waiting in Ombudsman queue...........0 -
:eek: oh no, poor you  I think this has gone on long enough:mad: wonder if the ceo of the company can do anything? or put a complaint in about the ombudsman:D hope you dont wait too much longer

Ombudsman is aware of my financial and health problems as I wrote to them again last week. I am waiting for a return call from a case handler this afternoon.
It has been 2 and a half year since I complained to the Ombudsman and the stress that it has caused me and those around me is getting unbearable.
Another trip to the doctors at 5.00 pm today.
Am I a 'one off' with this time period or are there others who have had to wait as long, or even longer???0 -

Thanks for reminding me....;)
They ignored one of my hubbys as well which did end up going as far as the ombudsman, but that timescale of yours is.........shocking:eek:, even though now they will also have to award you further redress for the inconvenience and distress, and of course the interest should add up as well.
Hope they get on with this very soon XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thanks DI,
Will keep you updated, as ever.
I dont want to put anyone off complaining when they see how long I have had to wait. I am sure that things will only get better as time goes on for those who are yet to complain.
Let mine be an example that we are not prepared to be steam rollered by the banks into submission because they believe that they are bigger and better than us.
I am still crossing my fingers and toes for a final decision in my favour, although after 2 and half years cramp has well and truly set in!!0 -

Sorry if this is a really thick question or has been answered many times before but my computer is playing up and won't let me search threads!
I've put in a claim with HSBC for PPI on 3 loans that totalled £48,000. The loans were paid off after 5 months due to me remortgaging. With the claims for PPI, will I (if successful) get back just the PPI that I paid over the 5 months or will they refund the total amount that was added to the loans?
Again apologies for being such a n00b with a rubbish computer!0 -

You are an inspiration to everyone:A:A you have been treated like a second class citizen and you deserve better:( Hope they pay you suffering money and lots of it:D:D On behalf of all money savers thank you for not giving in :cool:
I have spoken to the FOS this morning and they have been as helpful as the can. I have faxed them all of my financial information to confirm that I am in financial difficulty, as higlighted on the FOS website, and confirmed to them that a positive outcome will greatly improve my situation and circumstances.
If my case does not meet the 'priority' criteria then I am still looking at another 2/3 months minimal before an actual Ombudsman can look at it.
The worrying thing is that caes are being prioritised in strict date order so I raised the question as to whether this was from the date my case was received at the FOS (29/01/08) or the date it reached an adjudicator (15/02/10).
I have been told that it is from the date that the file was created, in my case 04/02/08, so does this mean that, in order to have your case reviewed by an actual Ombudsman there is a 2 and a half year back log?
I am at a point now where I am gob smacked. All of the current reports, Martins included, say you may have to wait 6 months with the FOS, sometimes up to a year, but I have now been waiting 2 and a half years!
I will ask again.............is there anyone out there who has waited as long as me or even longer............just so that I can bring some form of sanity back into my life again.0 -
