    Hi,
I'm going to write to complain (thanks amersall) do you think this will do:

    Dear

I am writing to you today to express my deepest dissatisfaction with your response dated xxxxx.

The complaint has been with you for almost 4 weeks, why has it taken this long to tell me, there is a problem and it may take an additional 4 weeks. I find this a deliberate tactic in delaying my complaint and claim.

You have only now informed me that you require both the signatures of myself and my wife before you can investigate my claim, this should have been explained to me in your first letter. Again I find this an unacceptable delay tactic on your behalf. However, to ensure you have these, we have both signed this letter.

As you can hopefully appreciate in my initial letter, dated xxxxx, I stated that I would like the matter concluded within 8 weeks else I would be contacting the Ombudsman direct for them to investigate my complaint.

I feel that this is a fair request and that the xxxxxx, which would be the 8th completed week, is more than adequate time to investigate my complaint and resolve my claim.

I am not asking for anything unreasonable, only that I am reimbursed for the missold PPI.
I am simply requesting a full refund of all premiums, and subsequent interest on these payments, that I have paid to date. As I believe I have been deprived of this money I also expect 8% statutory interest, the amount a court would award, to be added to each payment made.

I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter and for the matter to be concluded by the xxxxxx (the initial 8 week period) or I shall be contacting the Financial Ombudsman to fully investigate my complaint.

    yours

What do you think ? too much? I don't want to p' them off but I want it resolved. Your thoughts always appreciated
