hi all its me again i was wondeing if anyone could help? i have received an offer from the insurers of 500.00 and i was wondering if anyone could work out what i am actually owed. here are the details
    loan1 taken in oct2001 at 11.9% for 126 months- 11,000 - ppi 2693 - total loan 13693,00 - monthly payment £186.29 including ppi payment - 23.89 paid 8 payments then had a new loan and received a rebate of 2289.81 paying back 10983.92

    loan2 taken may 02 at 13.9% for 126 months - 18,000 - ppi 4400 - toatal loan 22400,00 - monthly payment £328.39 including ppi payment - 64.61 paid 6 payments and then paid it off and received a rebate of 610.23 paying back 21940.43
please can someone tell me that if i wanted to go all the way with what figure would i be looking at? or should i accept the offer?
hi there. not a whizz with figures, but the ppi monthly payments made to date is total £578.78. now if i were you i would ask for a proper breakdown of the ppi totals, because the loans only lasted 6 and 8 months you will not have paid the whole of the ppi and you will have had some form of rebate of ppi . so you will need to get a breakdown of the ppi figures. some one i am sure will be of more help with this, but that is what i would do as they might be trying to pull a fast one

    hi everyone,
it's near the end of the 28 days since my first letter to loans.co.uk (this friday will be the full 28) and today I have received the following letter

    dear sir,

further to our previous letter (the one saying they are looking into it), due to unforeseen circumstances, it will take slightly longer to reply to you with our findings.
please accept our sincere apologies for this delay; we anticipate that we will be in contact with you within the next four weeks!!! Pleae note that if the policy is in joint names, both signatures will be required for us to investigate this.

    yours etc

Ok, so I'm a bit miffed, is this a double delay tactic on thier part.
The four weeks are up so do I the right to complain about this extra 4 weeks? Also, wWhen I initially wrote I informed them it was a joint policy with my wife but only I signed that letter so I'm guessing they will reply saying they cannot look into without her signature.
PLEASE can someone advise what to do next, I'm tempted to write back stating I am not happy with this delay tactic and confirm it was a joint policy and get myself and my wife to sign just so they have both signatures but not sure if I should give them the 4 weeks additional time?

    please help....

Hi - I'm trying to help a relative with claims and see that there have been 4 agreements over the last ten years - each one being a replacement for the former to pay off balances and all to the same company - this is still ongoing but the former contracts included PPI - this now seen having done a SAR. I believe these to be mis-sold and want to double check that he should claim back the single sum upfront premiums that were added to the contracts plus charge for credit. If this is correct then he should not be hounded daily by this company for outstanding £2400 - seems he's been paying this forever. ??? thanks. P.S. orig. loan = 1,900.00

hi there, get your claim in pronto for mis sell, and send a letter to say that if were not for the mis sell of ppi your relative would not be in this mess. yes the ppi will be refunded (what has been paid so far on the last top up) put all account numbers on so they know these were rolled over and they will work it out, your relative will get interest as well and if they win hopefully it will reduce this loan, even pay it off all together. also i would get your relative to phone fos (when the claim is in to company for mis sell) to complain if they are still getting calls from this company when they may owe money back for useless ppi. hope this helps, thats what i would do

hi there, yes complain, this is disgusting. put both signatures so they wont have any excuse to delay further. maybe when they receive this letter they may get their finger out quicker. they make me sick when they are in the wrong and owe you money !! you try not paying a card or loan and ask them to give you 4 weeks grace, i dont think so

yes it isnt very straight forward is it , with these claims sometimes lol , if you have the actual workings out and it looks right what they have offered you, then accept. if you are not sure then get in touch with them and ask for clarification.maybe someone who is good with figures may come along and have a look at it for you
