if they have put your account back to the position it was in had you not taken the insurance check your monthly payment and look at your agreement, how much was being charged a month for ppi and has that figure been reduced, you need to call them and ask them if the ins has been cancelled, by what you have said you have all the premium taken off your account 20 5082.15 +2540.20 they have allready given you back! plus a cheque your very lucky how long did this take you?

The problem I have is the £2540.20 is interest we have paid, I think we should have that back!! As well - I don't consider that we are lucky - they have screwed us big time and if it wasn't for this site and the help from others they would have continued to screw us!!! It has taken about a year - all the letters to FP then through FOS
They have cancelled the policy and someone is going to call us with our new monthly rate - and I also will say, that they have consistently put our paymenst up - when the bank rates went up but it has NOT come down at all

i know it would have taken you time and effort with fp, when i said you were lucky i meant your the first one that fp have put back in the position you were before ppi. i am still fighting them and am still paying 111 a month for ppi i have not got as i cancelled it!! over the remaining term of the loan they will have back 26000 for a product i have not got, i hope mine ends the way yours has. take a look at this website as well firstpluscomplaints.co.uk/forum

Catinthehat if I read it right they are taking the PPI off the loan plus the interest they would have added to it so far. They are returning your payments plus 8% but I would expect payments so far plus interest plus 8%.
The FOS will help with this if you explain it to them I am sure.

Thanks Di really appreciate it, but I think that even the FOS have to allocate some responsibility towards us too!! Excuse the pessimism but if it was't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck
same here. just wish something nice would happen to us just once. but never mind we can still go to bed at night and get up in the morning!

nee-naw, the fact the sales person filled out the form themselves is a point in your favour please take this as far as you can. And the fact they gave you a brief synopsis makes this an advised sale and they should have made you aware of all inclusions and exclusions

  • Hi guys,
Has anybody out there had dealings with Black Horse? I have two PPI claims that I placed with the FOS in September and I'm just waiting now to be passed to an adjudicator. Looking at the posts I think there are very few of us?????

    Hi amersall,

Thank you and your help is appreciated here as well.:T ;) .Well done.

Me no expert but just down to my own experience of going through this I like to give my input as much as I can of where I believe may help and always appreciate others giving their opinions as well where you put in your input, that is wonderful.

Yes I have actually registered over at FP site a while ago and its interesting, I must make a point of getting back on there to see what is what.
Although I have no complaints myself about FP, but I strongly believe in supporting the people who have with this company.;)

    Cheers hun.

    Hi there
Good luck with this and hope your successful here.

I know there have been many complaining about them, and depending when they had taken out the finance (year), as I believe before they became regulated they do not give in easy, other than that I have heard some successes as well.

    Fingers crossed with yours hun.;)
