I see. Thanks I will do that.
Not a problem.;)
What I actually did was email/attachment the letter to the email posted to you and asked them to confirm that they forwarded to the aftercare insurance dept, they should confirm, I did also send a hardcopy in the post and posted by recorded delivery to this address as shown on your letter you received of the recent decision.
Fingers crossed.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi, I don't know the full details, but Auntie had a loan and PPI at the age of nearly seventy she tried to claim on the PPI and was told because she was over retirement age she couldn't claim anything, she eventually had to go bankrupt. She is now discharged. Would she be able to claim back any of the PPI paid up until bankruptcy.
Sorry its a bit vague.0 -

Hi there
And OMG  yes of course she can.
If they sold this loan to your aunt after the age of 60 or 65 they should not have done, so for this reason alone I would defo make a reclaim, to include the interest and the 8% interest of what a court would award for being deprived of her money.
I would also check other reasons, but blimey I can't believe what they have done to your poor aunt bless her.
Here below there is a link to Martin's guidelines of reclaiming, with template letters, a checklist of mis selling reasons, I would write all that may apply to your aunt, but if you can try to write the letter in your own words with the help from the templates, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.
You write to the ones who set up and sold the loan and post by recorded delivery.
Also make them aware on the letter of a claim they refused and the reason.;)

Good luck with this, I'm sure your aunt should be okay and win, but please keep us posted and ask for help when needed too.:)

Your very welcome.
If your aunt was not employed at all either then she would not have been eligible to make claim either, so there could be a few reasons here to make this reclaim on.;)
Look forward to hearing from you soon then.:)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
