ajat uk. if they wont give anymore back to you, tell them you will have to reduce the monthly payment you now pay them as you are in financial hardship!!! see what they say then. as they will have to wait longer for what you owe them!! halving it sounds good lol0

Yes that is a good idea, and the way I also see it the debt would not be so high if they did not mis sell the product in the first place.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks guys - I now pay the loan repayments regularly and have done for a year now...I only missed a few payments when they passed it to recovery...How do i go about declaring 'financial hardship'? would I have to supply them with bank statements etc, i dont claim benefits as i am in the Army, however do suffer financially due to CSA payments, etc. I did reduce my monthly repayments from 250 to 150 a month once it was passed to recovery as I couldnt afford 250 so maybe that would strengthen my case of proving 'financial hardship'???0

Hi there
I would write and tell them, you have only missed a few payments when passed on to recovery and have since been your monthly repayments and kept up, but you were already deprived of this money when this was mis sold to you (out of pocket), and believe it should be rightfully refunded to you where you can decide what you want to use your refund on.
Tell them you have set arrangements already in place due to financial hardship, this is why a payment plan of £150 were arranged so that you could survive.
Something along those lines will be fine.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

It may be that I choose to pay it off my loan, however surely thats my choice to make? Hmmmm...not got a good feeling about this one0
