I take it you posted it by recorded delivery and have the proof of when they received this?
I am wondering if they had to pass on to another dept perhaps?
I would see what Friday would bring and if you hear nothing then give them a call for an update on this.

Hope I am posting this in the right place. We have our mortgage cover with the same company as our mortgage. We have remortgaged since then and started a new policy.
When we took out the original one we were told we wouldn't get the mortgage if we didn't take this with them.

Is this the sort of thing we can claim back or am I just getting my hopes up:o

Maybe this one would be one for Dunstonh to respond to as its in relation to mortgage matters/cover etc, if you can keep on the same part of the reclaiming threads but post a separate one so this will not be missed and hopefully Dunstonh will be along at some point later to help.

Hi can anyone help me. 2 years ago I took out a secured loan and went through an agent who set up the loan and ppi with a loan company, nearly a year ago I realised that I had been miss sold the ppi and went to the financial ombudsmen, who looked at my case thoroughly and in their words there were alot of things wrong with the PPI and that it was missold to me, they also said that I should never have been sold the loan either as there were many discrepancies with that as well. The F.O. wrote to the agent who set up the PPI and loan but had no response, so I had to wait for another adjudicator to look at the case again, I have phoned them today to find out how it is all going only to be told by the F.O. that the agent has gone into administration!!! Does anyone know where I go from here, can I now go to the loan company as the agent was working for them...or do I have no chance of getting my ppi back????

Hi there and welcome

Some have us have been in the same situation as you here and have had to therefore claim through the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS), you contact them and they check if they are listed, and should then arrange to send you the claim form.

May I ask if you don't mind who the broker/the name of the business who sold you the loan? we may be able to find out a little more for you, check to see if they are already in default etc.

The Agent was Relax Finance Ltd and they were the ones that organised the loan from Nemo Finance
