To lose for the big day (lb) 2/510 -
Hello everyone,
Having apparently come out of the worst of my lurgy, today I have...
- Been to Aldi & Asda to do my monthly "big shop"! all in for under £30 hurrah! (I also splashed out on my home hair dye as the roots are showing- reduced to £5 from £5.98 yay).
- Made homemade flapjacks with smartprice oats, just going to chocolate coat them after typing this!
- Took back my apples with the receipt to Aldi after realising that they'd overcharged me by 69p - got my money back!
- Made Leek & Potato soup, had some for lunch and got 4 portions to freeze!
- Done my daily scratchcard, up to £5.10 now yay!
- Took an MS assignment for Saturday
- Checked online banking.
- Making a big vat of chilli for tea, gonna freeze loads of portions for ready-made dinners!!
Have a nice evening all

OK
Help me out here - being pathetic (!) no change there for me!!
Agreed with new lodger person to have a reduced first month rent til she got herself sorted out - so gave her an initial rent reduced by £50 quid of the full amount -
She's been around a week or so now and its like living with a mouse who you occasionally catch site of - studying hard, clean tidy everything, infact I am not sure she actually even eats??? etc - feel like just saying lets stay at the intial rate - which I know doesnt make great DFW financial sense - but is that too whooosie??
Aside from occupying my spare room and using a bit electricity - she is invisible.
any thoughts??

Hi guys, lots of snow here, it got so bad this afternoon we were able to leave at 3! :j luckily the roads were really quiet, so the drive home was fine, so were in for the night now.
Today so far..
*Had a NSD as I took HM brekkie and lunch to work
*Checked online banking and updated spreadsheets
*Checked ebay items I listed yesterday, 1 watcher already
Later I will list more on ebay ( whilst I have the motivation!) and list a few things on amazon.
Am off to read thread now, stay warm everyone! xLiving as simply as we can

Hello everyone
No real snow here either
Bit of snow forecast overnight but not much.
Today I have
:j had a NSD
:j made scrumptious pasta bake which has been hoovered up by DSs
:j checked banking for DDs going out - all as it should be
Couldn't find my phone anywhere this morning, looked in bag, kitchen etc etc. Resorted to phoning from landline and it started ringing - in my pocket. Numpty of the first order here! :rotfl:
Got to go, big queue of DSs waiting to do homework on the PC! ( At least they're telling me it's homework )
xGetting there...slowly!
