Wotcha everyone, done sweet FA today, nil motivation, went to work, came home.

    Anyway washed the cats bowl.

    Made tea.

    Thats it really.

Nicki I'd talk to a student support office at a uni in order to get some clarity on what may be the best way forward for you. I wish you luck whatever direction you decide to go.

Sorry guys skimmed the thread, hope you all have a productive day tomorrow. x

  • Night all. Welcome to all new to the thread and (((hugs))) to those who need it. especialy (((((rosepink, sunnygirl, dusty, GnB and LO))))).

Congrats to all who have earned stars. I look forward to when I can earn them too, public recognition for sticking to it, pushing on and succeeding. For me it will mark victory over clutter and the establishment of effective house keeping habits. A sign that I am back in control of my landfill. Already I am beginning to ‘see’ dirt and rubbish and do something about it.

Today I spent my flying time wiping every inch of DD’s cot and the walls of her corner. She is beginning to pull herself up. I plan still to do HHmarking x2 before bed.

Nicki are you currently working as a TA? I would think that would be an easy job to get given your qualifications and you can do the hours you want plus have school hols to study. Don’t have enough knowledge/experience to offer advice though.

    Happy flying

  • Morning all

Earlier start today - 0600-1815 today - what joy - have arranged to go in earlier today so I can go to Fat Club after work - lets hope that's not called off.

Looking out of the study window, it's like a snow globe outside so I better leave mucho early - hoping that its not as heavy as forecast or will be cancelled/delayed flight city again today

Hope everyone has a great day - never got chance for a catch up yesterday - will make up on Friday (crossed fingers)

Dusty - I'm glad things are getting sorted out with your DS
G&B - hope the op goes smoothly and you feel better from your cold soon
Nicki - I don't know the answer to your questions hun but I wish you luck and clarity

We have rain here but, according to the radio, there's snow not too far north. You're probably affected Greenbee. But, at least there's no ice!

But, off to bathe and do the work thing again.

    Have a lovely day everyone

We'll see what the day brings.

Feel free to PM me with regard to uni Nicki, i've done an OU course and am now at a traditional university so i've done both. To be honest i'd recommend the traditional route - i'm getting much more out of it than i did the OU. Not 100% sure on the system where you are because i'm obviously in the Scottish system, i get my fees paid, travel expenses and if i was a single parent i'd get my afterschool/term time holiday childcare paid for. Most uni's have a welfare officer you could speak to - look on the website of the uni you want to go to, they should have some info that will be of use. HTH you x

Snow here and roads are quite bad. Can't make my mind up whether to attempt walking - bearing in mind I've got to take the kids first so it'll probably take me about an hour to do the round trip - or to take the car - the other thing is it's staff meeting tonight so shan't be finished until 5. Full of cold as well and been awake since about 2am.

Nicki - I'm a TA so if I can give you any advice PM me and I'll ask my mate how she goes on with being at uni full time and what she claims.

G&B - pleased LO now has a date.

Haven't caught up with much else.

    Catch you later

Morning.:hello: I have an unexpected day off today. Rang my boss at 6.30am to say that there was no way I was driving the van this morning and she was still in bed:rotfl::rotfl:

DS school is shut. DD is desperate for hers to be shut as well which in view of all the other closures I suspect she will have the day off.. Puppy dog is in her element playing in the garden. She just loves the snow:D

No buses running here today and the cars are struggling to get up our hill.

Think I'll do a bit of flying and take the puppy and kids out to play in the snow later.

    morning :hello:

it has snowed here again  - might still pack up the kids and walk to nursery on the off chance that it's open ... will give us something to do!

and oh is STILL not home (due 40min ago  )

after our huge success with dd's toilet adeventure i got greeted with a foul smell when i went to check on her sleeping. i had to wake and change her (i could have used a peg on my nose  )

rosepink you certainly have come a long way and you should be proud of yourself! babysteps and we are all here for you! :T

dusty i don't know how to word this but 'at least' he's shocked enough to firstly show that he's upset of what he did and secondly to not do it again! i am certain you will help him through this!!

gnb good news that she's finally got an appointment! lots of vibes that she'll be fine till then!!

sunnygirl try and remember the happy memories - i hope you got some sleep in the end! take it easy for a few days :kisses3:
