Afternoon all... where has the time gone?
I'm feeling so lazy and I have an mini assignment to do for OU.Really not in the mood or have the brain function to do it.
Last night I didn't get back on here as I was busy out getting a new homephone from Asda  Something went wrong with my digital cordless ones (mind you I've had them for about 4 years) and it wasn't allowing me to make or receive calls so I went and bought a corded one which means no more having two phones on charge all the time:money: Might not make much difference but its bound to make some!
Lady came this morning and collected a desk/chair that used to belong to DD which I'd sold on ebay :j

Hi all
I've been really rubbish again today, all I've managed is a load of washing & tumbling, the supermarket shop and cleaning the cat paw prints from the kitchen & hall floor! I'm now veg-ing on the sofa, spending too much time (again) on here! My excuse is that the lounge is the only warm room!0 -
DD just popped in. Her and her bloke have found a flat just round the corner to rent. It's unfurnished and, strangely enough, belongs to DiL's parents! It's unfurnished so they need to start looking for some second hand furniture. They will move in on March 3rd.
I will now, at last, be able to start uncluttering things like the saucepans I used before I got the Le Creuset set that I've been hanging onto all this time just in case the kids needed them!
The front room will also be decluttered of quite a bit of stuff that belongs to DD!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Well, so far the dog's been walked. No progress on the desk
OH is clearing out his cupboards since we've got new storage in the bedroom. And since he doesn't like getting rid of anything, he's taking the old cupboards to live in the shed.I'm fine with that, as long as they're out of my bedroom!! :rotfl:
DD1 has cleaned the bathroom, so I'll have a look and see if I can have a list crossed off... probably not, as there hasn't been much flying going on here this week.
I'm going to make toasties..... inspired by W's phenomenal cheese doorstep! I was  at the thought of that sandwich put under the grill!!

soappie - they can have my bed & mattress if they want to come and collect it... my new one arrives on March 3rdIt's a standard (4'6") double. And let me know if there is anything else they need... there's still plenty of stuff in the garage
I have cleared a third of my drive in about 45 minutes. There are patches of ice under the snow, so I think I'm going to have to stay in tonight. I feel bad, because I know my friend has gone to alot of effort for this party, and loads of people have driven down from the midlands today, but then again the friend I was giving a lift to (who won't go if I don't, as she won't know anyone else) has admitted that she wouldn't want to drive on the road from where I live to Boringstoke in this weather.
I just need to recover from the snow-shovelling (I have back ache, but have also managed to clear a path from the back door to the garage just in case... and I found a whole lot of stuff in the shed that I thought I'd lost during the utility room building works), and then give them both a call...0 -

Ooooh Greenbee! Any chance of emailing me a photo of it so I can show them? How easily does it come apart e.g. can you separate the head and foot? (I'm thinking of transportation!)?
Have just Dysoned my bedroom and flipped and Dysoned the mattress. Bedding's just finishing drying on the rads (it went out on the line and is almost dry but not quite) so I'll remake the bed once they're finished. I'm now really quite tired. I've been a busy bee all day!
And they'll need something to sit on and something to eat off.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Change of plans...I'm off to Asda with DD to go and buy ice-cream and jelly. She's been complaining about a sorethroat and I put it down to having the heating on as it was just pale the other day. Had another look today and its all lumpy and looks like blisters on the backwall of her throat. Going by the NHSdirect website it looks like she may have tonsilitus and needs to go to the walk-in centre since the doctors is closed but it shut at 4pm  I'll try ice-cream and see the pharmacist to see if there's anything I can give her myself. We've already got a bottle of nurofen for kids so I'm going to give her a dose of that before we go. Now I'm feeling like a bad mummy now I looked down her throat and its horrible and blistery
Off we go...
