    Hello everyone

Well this morning I've done my grocery shopping , idrove halfway through a blizzard on the way back .

I noticed that the area around my front door looked horrible - loads of leaves and the door itself is still filthy with builders' dust. I've been here 3 months now and never cleaned the front door. soo.. I know I will sound like a madwoman, but I cleaned the front door down and swept up the leaves. It looked awful - must give a terrible impression to visitors. I hadn't really noticed it myself. So there I was with a broom and a bucket of soapy water in 3 inches of snow cleaning my door...LOL.

I'm going to do my living room, Level 1 later this afternoon.
  • CAZZIE - Condolences for your friend. The best thing you can do for her is just to be there, especially later on when the funeral and everything is over.- Hugs and prayers for you all
DIVA - Great to hear the news about tristran, will continue to pray for you both.

On the flying front so far I have S&S the bathroom and Kitchen. Stripped DD1 bed and vac'd I sofa. Need to recharge again for an hour then will continue.

No snow here so far, we are supposed to get it tomorrow. Very cold though. Wrap up warm everybody and take care.:o

Well, downstairs is clean and tidy. Finished off living room bit of the list(except windows... I hate windows), kitchen and bathroom S&S'd, dishes washed, TD emptied, WM emptied and reloaded.
Need to have a whizz round upstairs to get rid of all the rubbush as it's bin day tomorrow... want to get rid of as much as I can!
Going to have a cuppa then tidy the stairs, no point in cleaning as got council coming out to do some work in the next few days!

  • Well I have had quite a productive day today. I've done a load of ironing, loaded more washing and hung it out, no snow here, sunny and very windy and so it gives me great pleasure to see my washing blowing around and drying nicely. Changed the beds and done my grocery shop online. Can't beat a bit of sunshine to get motivated!

hello everyone im in!! Not sure if the colour on the list makes a difference (maybe just going to take of next week of something???) So just wanted to make sure i stay on, house would be a nightmare with out thie thread :o

It does.. at the moment it is the people I've not seen about recently.. I wanted to get the list down to the regular posters after the huge influx after christmas had settled down.. loads drop out within the first few days and not many stick with us for long.. so.. now you know..

Cazzie.. hugest of hugs to your friend, her OH and baby Chloe. I hope they find out a reason for it to prevent it happening again. Just acknowledging they had a baby would be good enough.. how about getting them a lovely little book they can add photographs to and foot prints etc.. make sure it isn't one that has bits about 'my first this that and the other' you can get them!! Also.. when her due date comes round.. send her some flowers and a note saying you have remembered and that will speak volumes about your feelings and the type of person you are. Don't overwhelm her or try to encourage her to cry/talk whatever.. it will all come in its own time.
