Cazzie - hugs to you and your friend.

I'm nearly there  All the grout is down. I just have one small area to wash and wipe off the surplus.....

Spent all morning trying to log on... so many people are working from home that we've had problems!

One of my team did attempt to go into the office (I called them all to tell them not to) and was turned away by security. It looks as if they're closing the office to make sure people don't end up stuck there!

Most of the schools round here are closed too.

Slept OK last night (went to sleep before the relaxation bit of the CD finished, woke up during the subliminal bit, fell asleep again, woke up when it finished), and woke up reasonably easily, so think I might try the same routine again tonight.

I think there is something living in my attic/cavity walls... I keep hearing rustling in the bedroom, but only when the heating is off  No sign of mouse poo or anything like that... just hope it isn't a giant spider:eek: There's certainly no way I'm going up into the attic to check :o

Lots of snow here (about 3 inches) so no chance of me leaving the house ;) . Now I'm logged on I need to get dressed and will try to alternate work with flying for the rest of the day.

Please only go out on the roads if you have to, and if you do make sure you have water, food and warm clothes/blankets etc in the car just in case (if you live in the country, take a torch, shovel, sack etc). Also a fully charged mobile phone!

Remember - going to work (in the case of most jobs) doesn't count as an essential journey.

Diva - I'll light another candle for Tristan later.

Cazzie - ((((hugs)))). I'll light a candle for your friend too

Soappie - well done... my floor needs grouting too, seeing as you're on a roll...

Snowing again here! I've put up my new light pulls :D Have realised that I did the living room windows at the weekend - they are not being done again today!

Monday - Living room, hall and stairs!

    Level One
    Clear and wipe surfaces
    Polish all the glass things

    Level Two
    declutter and vacuum the floors!

    Level Three
    De-web and de-fluff the room

    Extras
    29 fling boogie!
Fill a binbag of swag for charity shop
Wipe all the paintwork in the living room!

    My one-a-day (or 7-a-weekend!!) list
    - sort box of books
    - sort top drawer of filing cabinet
    - [STRIKE]put up new light pulls[/STRIKE] DONE
    - post letters
    - cross stitch cards x 2
    - make stronganoff
    - car checks

Mudbath - the appt was fine thanks - progressing slowly and new bone still growing. Thankfully, the bit they were worried about doesn't seem to have grown any more in the wrong direction so they are 99% certain they won't have to take the plates out :D So, nine months on and I still officially have a broken arm

Cazzie - huge hugs and prayers for you, your friend and her fiance

Gertie - glad OH is ok - how scary!

soappie - can't wait for the 'finished' photo!

    Hello

hex - I emailed you the other day. Did you get it?

Nope, but you are not the first person to say that to me this week. Not sure what is going on.

Just asked if the boys would like to build a snowman but they are far to busy gawping at the TV! I shall put some things away instead then.

Cazzie How very sad :( hugs for your friend, fiance & you, I would also take round a meal and a card and be ready to give lots of hugs and be a shoulder if they feel the need to talk xx

My heating's on full and it's still freezing, stoopid council house, talk about 'decent homes' pfffft they're having a larf. So, gonna drag the duvets down and sit in the living room... the only room with double glazing so it's warmer than the rest, with littley watching Disney channel :D Will do some more flying later, it's all under control.

  • Hugs to all with snow/bad roads. Please take care.
Very strange weather pattern. We have no snow here - well a few flakes and brief flurries, but not lying. Just VERY cold wind.
