Morning everyone.. just!
Had some sad news this morning my friend whose baby was due in June went into premature labour yesterday and had a baby girl (Chloe) who sadly died. Want to do something for her but have no idea what because everything I think of just seems so trivial (sending card etc) Keep getting distracted by it as well but trying to fling myself into flying to take my mind off itCan't begin to imagine what she and her lovely fiance are going through. Sorry to share the sad news with you all but just had to tell someone, if you know what I mean
My three children all got extra big hugs this morning.
Have started on my list but I really need to find a toy box of some sort for DD's toys instead of shoving them into a corner of the room!
Right, off to get started again... might do a HHC at 12 if anyone is up for it?:j "I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. Hi Guys,
I'm in again this week. Was okay up untill thursday last week and then have done almost nothing all weekend!! Oh well, back in this week.
Today so far I have done all the ironing!! A whole hours worth!! Managed to watch another episode of Lost whilst doing it so getting there with catching up with Lost!!
Sat night was rather eventful. My sister came round as OH was going out with work mates and I'm glad she was here!! OH came home, and passed out on the bed, was shaking like a leaf, was really pale and his eyes were rolling back inhis head! We think he got spiked with something so was in A&E until 4am!! Thankfully my sis was here and so didn't need to take kids with me! Was really scary though!! He's fine now, woke up Sunday and didn't remember a thing!!!
I'm going to make sure I do Level One everyday and more if I can.
Monday - Living room, hall and stairs!
Level One
Clear and wipe surfaces
Polish all the glass things
Level Two
declutter and vacuum/mop the floors!
Wash windows
Vacuum under furniture you can move..
Level Three
Wash any soft furnishings that are in need
Sort through coats and bags and shoes etc
De-web and de-fluff the room
Extras- wipe and water any plants
- 29 fling boogie!
- Fill a binbag of swag for charity shop
- Wipe all the paintwork in the living room!
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0 -

Cazzie - don't worry about a card seeming trivial. When you are bereaved every kindness helps no matter how big or small. If you think of something else you can do that as well.0

Hello all
I'm at home today, no chance of getting to work as loads of snow, my trains aren't running, and london buses are all suspended! It's a long time since I remember so much snow, and I grew up in Yorkshire. DH and me are meeting a friend for coffee later and will take the camera out with us I think. I've done pretty much all the work I can, checked and replied to emails and voicemails. Next job is to have a bath/shower and then some lunch.
DH's boss text him at about 7.15am saying 'work is cancelled, go and play in the snow!'. what a great boss!
cazzie - your poor friend. Do you live near? If so i have found that offering to take a meal round is really helpful and much appreciated at difficult times.
Dusty - hope DH is ok, my DH's family have a history of heart probs so i'm paranoid about any kind of pain
mudbath - one of my old youth group was studying photography and a lot of them are really into non-digital esp when learning.
off to make a list...Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hi,
Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. So far today I've done laundry & errands. My aims for the rest of the day are more of the same!0
