Change of plan was ready to leave the house and we have a blizzard and it's pitch black  so todays jobs cancelled, no way I'm going out in this to clean someone's bog lol

I'm at home YAY! downside is, I'll loose out on today's money, I wont be able to go and get my weeks supply of bacci (what I use most of Monday's money for) and my heating will be on most of the day :D  but I'm at home :j

We've got about an inch of snow since I last posted

Can't get in touch with my 9.30 customer to tell her I'm not going, she'll be fretting :( I feel awful now. Supposed it can't be helped and she may, if she has the number (son dealt with it all) phone my boss to see where I am.

Todays list then:- Did most of it at the w/e so it's revised.

I'm gonna make the most of today's day off and get as much done as poss.....gonna hoover littleys room too and do the bathroom, which didn't get done last week.
  • I'm in this week, thanks for the list Pigpen.

Snowed in like most of you it seems, with the entire family, so tricky to do much work at home but flying opportunities beckon .. ;)

Lots of decluttering to do. Objective of the day: get stuff off upstairs landing and sort out coat cupboard. Living room good enough.

Dishes washed up from last night (I was too, too tired to do it then!)
Cheese on toast scoffed for breakfast
The half floor that was grouted yesterday has had a wash down (I think it will need another)
The next lot of grout mix is in its settling period at the mo.

I hope to have the grouting finished by lunchtime.

I have to go and do some food shopping at some point today. I'm not looking forward to that!

DS1 taken to school, trip cancelled as I suspected. Good job I took his reading folder in *just incase*.
DS2 walked home from school, throwing snowballs at me.... took us half an hour to make the 7 minute trip home, but he enjoyed himself!!

Going to crack on with the list, do a S&S in kitchen and bathroom, then find something to play with DS2.

It's take me 45mins to get the kitchen partly sorted after OH did me a 'favour' by cooking tea last night. I can't find my normal blade for the panasonic breadmaker.... GGgrrrr. Does anyone know if I can use the rye blade instead?

Next on my list is to sort out some washing. There is mountains of the stuff in need of ironing. Considering doing mine and Ds and leaving OH's. This 'magic floor' situation is getting beyond a joke.

Lots of snow here so work and school cancelled. Boys are very excited, we went out for a sleigh ride to get some bacon. They don't remember snow like this before. Cats and chickens are not as impressed.

DH is working from home which limits options, so far I have emptied and filled the DW which is a bit poor.

Time for a cup of tea then a HHC from 10.45 to 11.15 for me.
