haven't done any flying so far because i had to take the kids to the park.
it took me good 20min to get them dressed nice and warm and then we staid about an hour in the park until dd gave in and wanted to go home. ds is still over there (with my neighbour and her kids) - which is great!
she also told me that all the schools around here are closed - that's why there were so many kids in the park :D
and we also helped a neighbour to push the car ... back into her parking space ..after she tried to actually drive out with it and got completly stuck and gave up

i've just uploaded all the pictures onto my pc and sorted them correctly - so a bit of flying :o

Kiwi i'll swap you the snow for the sun - we have loadssssssss!!
and i am not a snow fan - i grew up with way too much of it
but hopefully soon i'll be on your timezone anyways ;)

PinkFairy is berkshire too far?!? :D

Have done the livingroom and most of the hallway, the oven is clean and the washing up done....think its time for a cuppa.
Its snowing fast again, but seems quite fine snow
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Only about a quarter of the floor left to grout.

As soon as it's done, I think I'll nip out to the shops then before the next lot of snow that we're due decides to arrive.

Morning to you all. Snow here too but school open. I'm not going out!!!

Dusty - hope you're OH is ok.
Soappie - well done on your tiling

My main job today is to get DH to get my old dark room stuff out of the attic - it's all going on ebay and I know it won't sell for much but I don't want to just take it to the tip! I'll never use it again as i've gone digital but it's wierd as it's a huge part of my past going. Anyway, I don't need it!!

Take care in the snow!! xx

Had a lovely lie-in and have had breakfast and chatted to both my parents - 3 vehicles have skidded on the corner outside my dad's already and one hit his van! Thankfully, he has a motor caravan, so no damage done.

Diva - that sounds positive, will light my candle again tonight

skint - welcome (to the madhouse!!)

soappie and L-L - it is so unusual to have snow, but I'm staying in! Knowing me I'd slip and break my other arm!!!

    suzieq - welcome back!

Dusty - hope OH is ok

Frodders - I so know where you're coming from not wanting to leave the house with snow on the ground. I'm defintely more cautious since my break. I saw an advert for Mother's day yesterday and i've told my family I'm not going out that day as that's when I broke my wrist last year. Can't believe it's nearly a year. How did your check up go? I've not been on much so missed what happened. xx

    Morning all

I've done the kitchen thoroughly today. Haven't vacuumed yet because I did it all yesterday, might get to it later otherwise tomorrow for sure.

    Tidied everywhere.

Thawed out bird bath four times.

Salted back and front garden paths.

We've only really got snow showers here but I'm still getting twitchy.

Just put in a load of washing. I didn't think I had enough but when I went upstairs I saw DH had put some more stuff in the basket so it's on now.

Off to catch up with thread.

Managed to get the bathroom cleaned before I had a phone call to say littley was ill can I pick her up - so, had to go out in the snow afterall lol she's fine just a tummy ache, I'm cooking her some noodles which will heat her belly up and hopefully she'll go to the loo.

Need to hoover the bathroom now and hoover littleys room, oh and give the bathroom door the once over it's looking decidedly manky.

Mudders it's hard to get rid of things that have meant so much to you in your past, sometimes we just have to be sensible and be ruthless, well done for doing it.
