Well todays Triker production has been brought to you by the word SWEET and the letters F and A.

Our special number was 0 as in nothing, nil, nada.

Functioned (if you can call it that) like a zombie, no energy, motivation or zest. Drove like a zombie all over the county, did a few visits and meetings. Could have literally stayed in bed all day just lying there. Dunno whats up with me....just wiped out.

Decluttered some chocolate, gin and tonic and my tea. CBA to even do an errand.:p

hey honey dont be hard on yourself - you have just about got over a very traumatic experience with your mouth/tooth extracion and all that pain and painkillers will have taken its toll on you. I suspect it will be a week or 2 before the 'old' triker is back!

well two £2.99 nets of Sevilles reduced to 30p each. Never made marmalade before...when I jam it's either hedgerow gleanings (Bramble Jelly - I saves the sloes for the gin!) or home grown - rhubarb or blackcurrants. I get a fantastic amount of pleasure from jam making....I think it really is Old Style and it's not hard - just time consuming and occasionally messy...hope someone can give me recipe ASAP! Many thanks Greenbee

Hi Triker - thanks for the laugh!...

Valli - if there isn't a recipe in the thread, let me know, I've got one somewhere (admittedly, its a while since I made jam, but my mum makes it most years - my dad does chutney & crab apple jelly, so between them they keep me and my brother stocked up with the necessities!).

Triker - I'm not suprised you haven't done any flying. You've been in a lot of pain for some time, and are now having to deal with going back to work before you're 100% better. Cut yourself some slack please!

And on the subject of looking younger, you might all like to look at this thread... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=360547 There's a special offer on rosehip oil at the moment, and its fantastic... since I've been using it my skin is incredibly soft and I'm managing to hold off on the lines (although that could be the lack of children :p ). Anyway £8.99 for what's probably more than a year's supply seems pretty good to me!

Froddy - get your hoover out and toots will have to give you a star or two!

I'm feeling pooped today, too much exertion this week methinks! It's too darn hot and I have no list and motivation to move my carcass. Still trying not to be a complete and utter slob, so I sloshed a bucket or two of water around and cleaned the Barbie and deck chairs.

Gonna make me a Lemon meringue Pie shortly, then tackle the old man's pile of dirty washing he brought home for me this morning.

I really need to get out into the garden and clear some weeds (it's so bad), so maybe later when the sun has eased off a bit I'll do a HHG and HHI.

Soappie - as Kiwi alluded to above ^^^ it is HOT here. Tomorrow is promising to be hotter, too. Somewhere around 35ºC.
Triker - listen to what your body is telling you and have a rest!! Let your body catch up with itself again!
Kiwi - think I'll do my HHG later too. What's the temp at your place?? I'm picking 29 here - will see what the TV says tonight LOL.

We have the annual Blues, Brews & BBQs event happening here today. DS2 has gone off to it with a bunch of mates - I have said I will be sober picker-upper later in the day, so best I not partake until after that, although a long, cool drink would be lovely right now.

OK - back to the business stuff . . .
