I think I'll crash as soon as my head hits the pillow toottifrootti :rotfl:Think I was just getting a bit impatient
That's like an 11 hour 30 minute housework shift I've done! Ok I've had a few breaks but still. Ideally I want to have the kitchen completely done before I move on to tackle my study or lounge and it's getting that way. Just have a few niggly places I need to sort
Thanks all!Mr G isn't here to tell me that I've done well tonight

Hi all
Hmm don't seem to have acheived much today. Went to my lecture, went out for lunch with my boyfriend, did a bit of tidying and cleaning, still haven't done my ironing. Did a bit of studying, but need to do lots more tomorrow. I'm determined to keep up this semester, only 11 weeks til exams!
Hope everyone is well, I'll see (?) you all in the morning

Gryfon you're putting us all to shame.
Greenbee, get those niggles done, they're like the 'don't move that' cupboard that you have something wedged against, you know when you venture in it won't be so bad and that it won't take long to do, but it just makes you feel queezy looking at it! **kicks** do those CVs/Applications TOMORROW!
Right, I have 10 pages left now, just came down to find food, had a yoghurt and can barely keep my eyes open. 20 odd hours marked in for next week, I start the second course as of tomorrow aswell. Going to go back upstairs and see if I can get some done, global mean surface temperatures, what a lovely way to spend a Friday evening xOne day I might be more organised...........

lil_me...thanks but I'm still impressed at the people who manage to just do cleaning and don't have to do all the clutter cleaning first! We have people over during half term so I need to get upstairs and clear the small girl's room as she'll move out for a few days. I think I'm procrastinating by doing the other rooms first
What course are you doing?

Help!
There's a thread somewhere (I think it was started by Thriftlady...) about preserving eg when to make jams/pickles/wine etc
Up until tonight I was an ardent jammaker (I jam my own - or hedgerow - fruit)
BUT Been to sainsbury's on the way to pick up DS from GFs and got Seville oranges 30p a bag (I bought 2 bags - about 6 pounds) (reduced from £2.99 a bag to 30p a bag)
so I need a marmalade recipe (not overly happy with the Dairy Book one) NOW
so I can make marmalade tomorrow AND I CANNOT FIND THE THREAD

Thanks lil_me... I'm about to get ready for bed (not sure the wine was a good idea!). The slush in the road is clearly turning into ice, judging by the noise from people driving past! I think the person who has parked on the side of the road might regret it in the morning  . I'm a bit worried about going out tomorrow night... it's 8 miles into Basingstoke to pick up my friend, and the road is wiggly with hills. Even if it has been gritted, it could be down to -9 tomorrow (as its a rural road, even if it is an A road it's been closed several times this week!), so driving one way at 7.30 pm and the other at around 1am is feeling a bit scary
The plan for tomorrow... is to walk into the village (I need some kind of exercise!), clear the snow off the car and possibly clear the drive, and to get going on the study/job applications.
