Soappie glad you are back home safe and sound do you have snow at home now?

Yes, there is snow but the roads are just about clear but very slushy. And compared with what I drove through for the first 6 miles, it's nothing!

mOzzy - I'm further west (between basingstoke & newbury)... and according to the bbc, the white stuff currently falling out of the sky is 'light rain'

Would anyone have a use for around 100 used A4 envelopes that can't be recycled because they're made of translucent yellow tracing-type paper? I wondered whether they might be useful for art/craft projects. I don't like the idea of just chucking them in the bin!

Rosepink are there any things you could ebay to make the £20 to pay for them? Would it be possible to add tab tops along the top to lengthen then - how high is your pole/rail, could you lower that a bit? quote]
YES, well done! Fantastic! FIL has all my stuff that I want to ebay, a whole black bin bag full of clothes! He is going to take the pics cos I hate doing that, then I am going to list them (and lots of his stuff) and take it all to the PO (as he hates doing that) and we are going to split the profits. I must remind him, we decided to do this in November! I have a feeling he is discovering he hates photographing ladies clothes! That will more than pay for the curtains, and extra fabric to lengthen them.

    My list for today:
Tidy sofa - moved the stuff on to an armchair, does that count? Now moved to bed so I could stand on armchair to try out curtains
Wash up – one sinkful done, one and a bit to go, including stuff on hob, which is now on clean worktop ready to be washed next
Tidy LR floor - moved half the stuff onto the bed so I could get to the armchair to clear it so I could stand on it to try out the curtains
    Tidy sofaside table
Heel balm on heels AM PM
Clean out cold bag – spilt cream in it and a creamy sock from where I missed the wash basket!

[STRIKE]Nag[/STRIKE] Ask FIL how he is getting on with ebay photos

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One

    Extras
    1. Wipe all the cupboard fronts, kickboards and [strike]large appliance[/strike]

    Friday -fun and frolics..
    Level One
    Clear the bathroom half done
Empty bins and wash them out DH can do this, the bathroom bin is full of his snotty tissues from when he was ill
    Level Two
[strike]Wash bath mats [/strike] In WM with other stuff
Recycle all the empties! Have moved it all to outside the front door ready to take next time we go out.
    Level Three

Have done loads! I think I just did my first HHC without realising! I have also cleaned the phone because DH phoned when I was cleaning kitchen and I realised how dirty it was. :o
Going for a nap now, but might need to tidy some of the stuff that's on the bed so I can get into it!
