Good morning,
Happy Birthday N9eav
Finally a day when we don't have to go anywhere or do anything other than normal "housey" things. I have a little bit of ironing still to do. I did start it yesterday but I was interrupted twice, so I gave up. I may make some cakes to take to work tomorrow, and I have promised ds that we will make some biscuits later. I need to tidy up a bit too, and get something out of the freezer for dinner. I think I may defrost some of the cooked chicken portions that are in there, and make myself a roast dinner.
Take care all of you0 -

Good morning everyone,
Happy Birthday, N9eav! Hope its a good one!
tru how OS is that! :T I used my "bagged" hoover for over 15 years but it was only when I replaced it with a bagless one that I realised how much it *wasn't* picking up.
We went to mass last night so no morning rush, thankfully, as DD decided to sleep with me last night, which meant I had no sleep at all. Feel tired now but like Squiggly I will have to work on my essay as it's due in on Friday. Good luck with your's Squiggly.
DD wants to get fitter so we will all be going to the gym at some point today. I'm trying to go at least three times a week but I think I overdid it yesterday as my legs are groaning at me today. Or that could just be old age.
I have lots of peppers to use up so think I will do some stuffed peppers with chicken and cous cous today. I'm becoming inspired by all this talk of growing veg in containers but I would have to wait until my daffodils have been and gone before I can think of planting anything. It makes sense to try and save money where you can and I know from past experience that homegrown veg takes far better than any other. So, I will be looking into that for this year.
((((hugs)))) to all who need one. Have a sunny (or snowy  ) Sunday. x"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

It's great, I've even used it to pick up nails and bits of wood. But it can't cope with bits of hay and shredded paper (flung about by the guinea pigs) - it always blocks up  So the Goblin is for the animals :rotfl:

Morning all,
N9eav Happy Birthday
Brrrr its very cold here today, cant wait for the snow :j , OH got up at 6and went off to the car boot sale, he must be frozen, I have asked him to pick up a sack of spuds on the way back, I have some growing in the garden which I must dig up, but there is not enough there to keep us going.
DD is seeing her dad today, I think they are going to watch football, she will have to wrap up warm. Roast pork and all the trimmings today, and I might make up a batch of carrot and corriander soup, but we will see, I want to get out walking today as we did not go yesterday.
Got one load in the wm, which I will hang out, as its blowing well today, other than that I think it will be a nice lazy evening, a bit of tv and then early to bed.
Bargain glad Spike is doing well xx
Diva I lit my candle last night, hope all is well.
Have good days all, and take care x0 -
Morning all!
MSD - hope there is some more positive news for you today.
N9eav HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Nesssie - hope you get that cold on the run today. If your throat is bad try steaming your head over a bowl of hot water (Sorry - that sounds a bit "Go boil your head!" doesn't it!) - it does seem to help. If your nose is clogged up too add some olbas oil to the water if you have any - or a dollop of Vicks.
We're off to London today for the chinese New Year celebrations - always a great day out. I shall take my camera as usual - not sure whether MrEH plans to take his or not.......he's just decided not, I think! I reckon it's going to be bitterly cold so we will be taking scarves, gloves and hats!
We're going to put bread dough ingredients in the BM before leaving to be ready to shape into rolls when we come home. Tea tonight will be cheese and mushroom omlettes I think.
Hope everyone has a nice day - wrap up warm if you're going out!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

N9eav HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!:j :j :j :j
Hope you have a lovely day and enjoy your roast dinner
I love all these 'housey' things we are all doing today. When I was little, Sunday was always the day for ironing with The Archers in the background, roast dinner with 'Family Favourites', boiled eggs n' soldiers for tea with 'Sing Something Simple'.....
Even now, I iron on a Sunday morning - yes, with The Archers, do my paperwork to Desert Island Discs, clean shoes/oversee homework etc. to Just a Minute and prepare lunch to The Food Programme. Am I turning into my mother?
Will walk the dogs later on today - they don't care about cold or snow.
