I wondered what "steam generator iron thingies " were so looked at Argos online. They have them from £50 to £250!
Recoveringspendaholic said: "I fold T-shirts as if I am going to put them away without ironing and then just run the SG iron over the folded top side and they are perfectly crease free". Makes it sound magical!0 -
Ironing isn't worth it
never mind a fancy one. Mine was £5 ish in Tesco does the job when I need it to.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Got mine in Sainsbury's last year (Morphy Richards) and it cost just under £40 - reduced from £80. It's fab. The ironing takes less time, I don't have to fill it up with water all the time (lasts several long ironing sessions) especially doing superking cotton quilt covers, has an anti-calc cartridge which stops all that horrible whiteish scum going all over your clothes when you iron. If mine died now I'd gladly pay the full price of £80 to replace it! 'Nuf said?!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
