 Hi LT
You can come and plan my wedding any day. I hate planning and would rather just turn up on the day and everything be perfect.Mortgage: £59709.77 (26/08/17) Now £58683.93 MFD Nov 2033Current OP Savings £3952.68.

OH went and found out about JSA and it looks likely that he is not entitled to it so I now have to pay for everything. This suits me as I now have control of the finances.
OH's game sold tonight on amazon so that another £9 on its way. I have not spent any money since Monday. I need to be careful now with money cause OH always needs a few pounds for something or another.
After the comments on the DJ being expensive nothing is booked yet and we have been looking around for something cheaper but all seem to be around the £500 mark. So not sure what to do.
I have found out tonight that you can use clubcard vouchers at Goldsmiths and we have found two wedding rings which we like. I already have £70 worth of vouchers so am going to save these and use them to get money of the rings. I just hope the offer lasts until next year.

That's a good idea about using the vouchers towards the rings. I didn't see anything I liked in Goldsmiths when I looked but will have another look when we start to plan properly again.
Perhaps DJ's are in the region of £500 where you are. I know in the south we could get one for £195 but I haven't looked into what they will do for us, so your price may not be that bad. Didn't mean to put you off, just trying to save you money if you could x.
Oh and I would love to just turn up as well and have everything done for me, can't afford that though lol0

No you didn't put me off the DJ yukkibear. When I first seen the price my initial reaction was that it was too expensive. I am trying to justify in my head if a really want to spend nearly £1000 on the evening party.Mortgage: £59709.77 (26/08/17) Now £58683.93 MFD Nov 2033Current OP Savings £3952.68.

yukkibear's right maybe that's the going rate for DJ's near you, some are that price round here especially if they have loads of gear (doesn't mean their any good though). I loved doing all the finer details of our wedding, i made the stationery/favours/ everything really. I've just finished the scrap booked wedding album which has helped me get through the loss of not doing stationery (how mad does that sound! lol)0

            Evening everyone
OH and I have just be finalising our questions to ask tomorrow when we go to view the reception venue. I am really excited. We have also been looking into wedding insurance.
OH has got an interview for the start of July so I hope his luck is changing as he has had a lot of rejections for jobs.
Going out to pizza express tomorrow with our clubcard vouchers so that will be a nice treat.

enjoy pizza hut i'm in london this weekend and despite staying with OH's parents we generally have to go out and find out own food so it can work out pretty expensive whch is a bit of a bu99er. Neither of us really want to go but hey it's a duty so we dont' have much choice.0

Well yesterday was a waste of time. We had an appointment booked for 1.00 pm to discuss our wedding reception requirements. We got to the venue and the person we were suppose to see was on holiday and nobody else could help. If see was going on holiday at least she could have done was rearrange the appointment. I was not impressed at all. I would expect a better service as it was a 4 star hotel.
On a better note the OH got a letter yesterday to say he was getting JSA after the guy at his interview told him he would not get it. So that was an unexpected bonus.
I must get some ebaying done today. Catch up later.
