    Sunday - toad in the hole using sausages from Bollito Misto

    Sausage Casserole with mash, veg and yorkies

    Apple Pie from freezer & Custard
    Monday
    Pasta & Meatball Bake
    fruit in Raspberry Jelly with squirty cream

    Tuesday
    HM veg soup & Beans on toast
    Yogurt

    Wedensday
    Spaghetti Bolognese
    Sponge with jam and custard

    Thursday
    Quiche Lorraine from freezer, with HM potato salad and salad/veg
    Yogurt

    Friday
    Cottage Pie
    1/2 Chocolate Cheesecake in freezer left over from xmas

    Saturday
    Macaroni Cheese
    HM meringues with fruit & Squirty cream
    breakfast are cereal, toast or bagels
    lunches are soup, sandwiches, baked potatoes, leftovers from Pasta bake, cottage pie etc for myself & dd2,
    dh, ds & dd1 have pack lunches - sandwiches,HM scotch eggs, yogurt, fruit, biscuits, cereal bars etc.

    We are probably having:

    Sat:
    Breakfast: cereal for children, bacon sandwiches for me and OH (using my hm oatmeal grant loaf from the most recent BBC Good food)
    Lunch: mini-eggs for children (in freezer), a bought quiche from my less frugal days for us
    Dinner: roast turkey & gravy left over from christmas, mashed potato, cauliflower & broccoli

    [OCADO order arriving between 5 & 6]

    Sun:
    Breakfast: scrambled egg on toast for everyone (whichever bread looks best for toast)
    Lunch: hm soup using whatever veg I've got, bread
    Dinner: roast pork, roast veg, apple sauce, gravy (possibly red cabbage with apples and less roast veg, not sure yet)

    Mon:
    Lunch, at home: some chickpea & squash tagine I have stashed in the freezer, with wraps
    Dinner: stir-fried rice with leftover pork & omelette strips

    Tues:
    Lunch: meat sandwiches (using roast pork if some left, some frozen roast lamb if not)
    Dinner: macaroni cheese & tomatoes

    Wed:
    Lunch (at home): spaghetti with broccoli, anchovy and breadcrumbs
    Dinner: aubergine & black bean chilli (from freezer), cornbread & tomato salsa

    Thurs:
    Lunch: sandwiches, possibly tuna mayonnaise
    Dinner: creamy chicken fricassee with broad beans, sauteed potatoes, carrots

    Fri:
    Lunch: sandwiches, probably the same as Thursday
    Dinner: turn the rest of the fricassee into a pie (hm pastry), have with a friday night treat of chips & peas

    I don't plan weekday breakfasts (toast for me and OH, at school for children) or weekday lunches for children (at school) or OH (he does his own thing and refuses to get involved in any planning).

    I still need a few ideas, but it's mostly there....

    Sat - choucroute at neighbours
    Sun - spaghetti with olive oil, chilli and garlic
    Mon - chickpea chorizo stew (leftover)
    Tues - sauerkraut soup
    Wed - DH back: will try Bargain Rzl's sausage casserole
    Thur - HM pizza with sardines

    Monday;Shepards Pie with carrots and cabbage.

    Tuesday;Chicken Casserole with mash and peas.

    Wednesday;Spagetti Bol and garlic bread.

    Thursday; Fish and chips with beans or spagetti.

    Friday;Toad in the Hole and veg.

    Saturday;Pizza.

    Sunday; Roast and trimmings.

    Puddings; ice-cream,fruit,hot lemom sponge and custard.

    Pack ups;Wraps,pittas,rolls with Ham,cheese,tuna,juices,muffins ,flapiacks,crisps and carrot sticks,yougarts

    Breakfast;Cereal,crumpets.

    Here's mine -

    Saturday (31st): Curry, rice and garlic naan bread. (me veggie, OH Turkey)
    Sunday (1st): HM potato pesto bake with sweetcorn
    Monday (2nd): Linda McCartney Pies, mash and brocolli
    Tuesday (3rd): Dinner at MIL's
    Wednesday (4th): HM Veggie Sausage Pie with baked beans
    Thursday (5th): Dad's HM Veggie Chilli, rice and leftover creme fraiche
    Friday (6th): Dinner at my parents.
    Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    We are having:

    Sun - roast chicken (big chicken so loads left for lunches etc)
    mon - trout & lemon cous cous
    tues - sweet potato fritata & salad
    wed - chicken stir fry
    thurs - fish pie
    fri - spag bol
    sat (friends over) chicken enchiladas, homemade wedges & salad

    DH's lunches (in no particular order) mushroom pasta x2, chicken, mango & avocado salad x2, cous cous

  • Didn't do a plan last week and really missed it...

    OK, still using last of stuff up in freezers (have 2 and want to turn one off for a bit) so not much nice things, but here goes...

    Sunday: Cottage Pie and veggies with rhubarb and apple crumble for afters - change of plan already here as DS has roast that he didn't have yesterday (he likes it saved and warmed up later for some strange reason???) I might just have beans on toast or something quick for myself instead now...
    Monday: Pizza and garlic bread
    Tuesday: Chili Con Carne
    Wednesday: Sausage & mash
    Thursday: Pasta and chicken
    Friday: Egg, chips and beans
    Saturday: Spaghetti Bolognese

    As I say, bit boring, but it's a plan eh! :rotfl:
