I have also banned winnie the pooh and any of his little friends. I didnt grow up with them so maybe thats why I dont like them. I also have said no teddys, they are just dust collectors. Oh, and no balloons with 'congrats etc' on them. I do not want to have to stuff them in the car along with all my bags and the baby of course on my way home from the hospital.

My flat isnt that big so I have to be choosy what I have in there for baby. Only essentials and no tat! I have rid myself of over 20 items on freecycle including 3 bin bags of clothes today. Also made £150 on ebay with more rubbish clogging up my home. Out with the old and in with the new. I am feeling very virtuous indeed.

I need a dose of what you've had! :o I need a huge clear out session in this house then a raid of the "storage solutions" section of IKEA to make sure I have a home for everything. That's the problem with this house at the minute - if something doesn't really have a home it gets left on any random available surface and the whole place looks a tip! I'm hoping once it's decorated to something I'm proud of then I'll have the motivation to keep it looking nice.

No - not yet ;).. I got a mini version of their catalogue through the post the other day with a £15 off when you spend £20 offer. Want to wait until after the scan so I know what to go for - then I'll go spending mad! (small print says the offer is valid until end of September!)
