  • Blimey you don't come on here for 12 hours and there's 5 pages to catch up on and its the weekend when its usually quiet!

Caz- so glad to hear from you, we had worked ourselves into pregnancy related hysteria wondering what on earth had happened to you! i was convinced that you would have had the baby when you came back at least! Anyway happy due date to you!

Rmac so glad you and Annabel and OH are all ok now and starting to get over it, Just to say I had a traumatic first birth and if you are finding your midwife supportive then there are facilities out there for you to 'debrief' the birth which can be really helpful to moving on, i felt exactly the same way as you about ever giving birth again, I never had any answers as to why it went wrong last time until i saw the consultant at the start of this pregnancy so if you can get some help now, then do it.

Millie is 5 now and its only in the last 2 years that we started to think about maybe having another and to be honest it scares me to death that the same thing might happen thats one of the reasons why I'm having an elective.

Thanks Mel. Read your mind. Something to do when I get back home me thinks.

We are expecting a little girl, due on March 4th, we have a few names but we like Isla-Sofia :j

Wish I was sat at home like Mrs T is  Oh well back to work...

LOL wish it were that simple... it's an ongoing battle between me and work which I'd swap in a heartbeat for them to stop being difficult to be honest. But I guess it looks cushy being sat at home :rotfl:

  • I'm sat at home... No work politics... It's cushy for me ;)

Hubby text me this morning and said he wished he wasn't going to work, I said I wished he liked his job more because he says it every day... He said its not about how much he likes his job, he just wants to be with me and Aimee all day...

That's me 12 weeks today! :D And I haven't felt this sick in ages :( bleurgh... Maybe some toast will help.

R.Mac, sounds scary, but the scars do fade eventually. Just keep talking about it as much or as little as you need.

  • Caz - Thank goodness your back and everything is ok, we were so worried about you!

Helen - Congratulations on your BFP welcome to the pregnancy club

Mel - re. having the same initial, me and 2 of my sisters had the same initial, we all used our first and middle initials on post etc. But still, we got "mystery" letters and parcels that were just opened by the first "Miss R" to get to it (You couldn't have any secrets in our house!)

r.mac - thank you for the birth story and glad that you and Annabel are well.
