  • MFD, that was my big fear when I was having Aimee, I was convinced if I went overdue she would die inside me... Don't know if it was irrational but I'm not so worried with this one... and I'm kind of expecting to go a week over...

Caz, I used to have to go to 'work focused interviews' but they're not going to expect you to be looking for work with a new baby, they'll probably just be wanting to fill in your details on the computer system... Think you have to do 2 a year... And it's nice to see you back!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

MFD a friends sister had this happen recently and it was heartbreaking for all, there was nothing wrong with baby at all and if they induced her when they said they would he would have been fine?

Unfortunately this is more common than we care to think about

Good to have you back Caz, we were thinking the strangest things about you not being on !!!:rotfl:

How is everyone this evening?? I'm ready for bed, but forgot to wash DDs school uniform for tomorrow, so its just out of the machine and is now in the TD so have to sit up and get it and shake it out to save me ironing it too much in the morning !!!

ahh while im here ill ask you lot lol!!

OH had to sign on due to absolutly no work here, i recieved a letter stating that i have to go for a getting back to work interview next mon(23rd) i stated that i will either be overdue or have a new baby but they have stated if i do not attend then they will stop our money?? do yu not get so long before you are required to work?? we have had word on up and coming work for OH but really i feel that they are taking the pi** wanting me to go in so soon after/during pregnancy?
I take it you aren't entitled to MA?
I know that If I had still been signing on up until my MA kicked in I would have been effectively "on maternity leave" and not have to sign on whilst I was receiving the MA.
Have you spoken to an actual person about it? I'm sure they wouldn't expect you to go for any meetings or look for work for at least 6weeks but more like 6 months!!
Or you could agree to it then get your doctor to give you a sick note saying you've not recovered from the birth.
I'm sure they can't stop ur OH getting benefits tho

Oh hello Caz - nice to see you back:)

I can't stop, got studying to get finished!!

I Like Robyn, and as you know, I love Evie!! You are welcome to it though, as this baby is def a boy we have either Isaac or Kai, I 'think' I am swaying more towards Kai as I 'think' it sounds better with the other boys names....I also (just recently) like Finley/Finlay!! But will keep that in the sidelines for baby #4.

    Hello to everyone else too.....

I am driving my self mad trying to find some simple white furniture for the baby's room. I like a set of drawers from Ikea, but there isn't a wardrobe to match. Then I saw some in my catalogue I liked which was a set, but they were sold out....and when I read reviews they were rubbish anyway! Most of the others I have seen are FAR to expensive - I mean £499 for a flaming wardrobe, I don't think so!
Any suggestoins of any online furniture stores would be great, I have tried ebay too, no luck.

Will try and pop in tom, kiddies are off so may take the dog out.

    Mel x
