I was a bit like that when we painted the living room walls, we went from calico to warm beige... Looked like someone had thrown a chocolate milkshake at the wall... But it's growing on me...

We're off upstairs to sand the bedroom walls down and paint the woodwork in a min... Although the Xbox just went on... One of hubbies workmates dropped a paste table off today too... He's contemplating having a go at papering himself... He's never done it before but I have... I just don't fancy being up a ladder 6 months pregnant hanging paper....

LOL! We moved here when I was 7 months pg with no 3. House was a state (people were desperately short of money and ripped everything out, inc stuff on sales details etc) After decorating the bedrooms for nos 1 & 2 (I didn't get involved) we tackled lounge & dining rooms ready for Xmas (this was late Nov/ early Dec by then - and I was due 2nd Jan) Hubby has never wallpapered - that's my job (his is painting) - so we did it on an evening over about a week (I could manage about 3 drops at a go before hips went!) He's thinking about wanting to decorate in there again - I said no way until way after this one is born! (Anyway, he'll have enough to do with decorating/ tiling our new bed & bathroom & then the other bedrooms ready for the move arounds)

When I was pg with no 1 I spent my first week of mat leave on a stool stripping wallpaper (about 36 weeks) - small room, steamy stripper meant I did most of it wearing black cycle shorts and a cerise pink cropped top  - not a pretty sight (I was a size 18 & it was in Nov!):rotfl: :rotfl:

    I hurt

Had to carry DS2 from my car to his Grans house after he bolted out the door after me (he is staying there tonight). This was after I told them to distract him! So now my back hurts, my hips hurt, my whole pelvis area hurts! And I'm hungry. Ordered chinese food as I am too sore to cook. Having kids stay over at Grans is so not worth it! And it's only one child, she had DS1 last night. She can't do two at a time. From now on, it's both or none. Having to try and settle a bereft DS2 who just wants his big brother is heartbreaking.

Mmmmm We're supposed to be having steaks for dinner - I was hoping DH might have cooked it for me as I've been SO tired today. But he's gone next door to watch the rugby leaving me on my own lol... Being as I brought him waffles and tea in bed this morning with his valentines card I did think he might have thought that cooking me dinner would be a nice gesture (in his defence he HAS painted the nursery and done a very nice job...)

My curry is in the oven - starving now. Can't wait

I do the decorating in our house, I did our bedroom in November - painted the ceilings, one feature wall in a deep purple and 3 in cream and lots of glossing. Took me 2 whole days whilst OH was in work. Plan to get the landing and doors upstairs glossed in the srping when I can open the windows (house stunk for ages and was freezing doing it in Nov).

Mrs Tine ((Hugs)) my OH is here but is flicking between rugby and football, drinking beer and teasing me that I am pg with twins because of the size of my gut.

Very quiet on here today ..........

My lovely hubby's sorted tea out for us... Via Domino's pizza and my debit card... 50% off though...

Have decided to rip up the bedroom carpet, it's foam backed and so old all the backing is just turning to dust... I don't fancy black dust in all my nicely painted white skirting boards so just cutting away the edges for now and will dispose of the middle later... Hubby's all disappointed though, he was hoping to get the wallpaper hung today but we're only halfway through preparation.... Still, if we do it properly now we'll never have to do it again...

We're having steak for tea too :)

We finally got out the house and went to one pram shop - who had the SX 3D and Sleepover but not the Freeway!! :( Holding out more hope with the bigger shops tomorrow.

I've clearly not eaten enough today - keep coming over very dizzy and sick all of a sudden. I used to have ham salad buns from a place near work for lunch and not be able to finish them. Now I have to get two and have one for lunch and one about two hours later, plus assorted malt loaf, flapjacks, apples and chocolate throughout the day so I'm eating a lot more on workdays than I realise and not keeping it up on weekends.

We've stocked up on portable snacky things today so that we can have a big breakfast tomorrow then head off to the big shops with a bit of a picnic in case I get snacky! :D

oh dear, OH thought he had run out of beer and was about to switch to soft drinks. He's just found another 4 pack in the back of the cupboard and is like a big kid  .

Has just told me not to take advantage of him like I apparently did at Christmas and New Years to end up preggers!!!! As if :rotfl:

Elle, you're doing a lot better than me appetite wise... Mine is only just upping now... Could barely fit a full dinner in since I found out I was pregnant... Can remember with Aimee though, towards the end I would go out to dinner with my sister, have a big pub meal and a pudding... Then go home and have a sandwich because I was still hungry... Once Aimee was born we carried on going out for dinner but I could never finish the full pudding let alone follow it up with a sarnie lol!

I'm going through an eating phase too... I'm contemplating my second chocolate muffin of the day... bear in mind that these are Costco muffins!!!
I have to stop myself going in the kitchen because if I do I HAVE to find something edible... Can't help it!
Guess I better go peel the spuds if I want dinner tonight *sigh* :) MEN

Right OH really !!!!ing me off - is insisting that if we have a girl it has to be called Tori Lucy as he really likes it. I don't mind the Lucy but Tori sounds really American - and we couldn't use Victoria and shorten it as it's my name and I'm not naming my child after myself.

So, Tori Lucy - what do you guys think?
