Last Birthday without a baby! Its today.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
  • :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Feelie!!!

I agree with Krystal, let hubby bu**er off on his own to get the car whilst you do something nice for yourself, like a nice hot bubble bath!
  • Weezl - just because I have finished work doesn't mean I am ready lol! I haven't even cleared out the nursery yet never mind painted it. I am still waiting for my nursery furniture delivery (prob a good thing lol!) and I still only have 2 travel shampoos in my hospital bag (which has been like that for about 3 weeks now!)

I love the RLT - but I enjoy fruit teas anyway. No problems with dry mouth.

Feelie ((HUGS)) I have had a fair few downer days myself during this pregnancy and I am supposedly 'normal' :rotfl:

Shelvis - I see you're from Chesterfield! I'm from there originally!

Elle - hope you feel better after your scare last night - how brave is your OH!!

Candy - I can't believe your DD had another scare yesterday - she will be better at the hospital for her antenatal care I am sure.

Angela - my dad agrees with you that the flavour is one thing that you should be surprised about - when I told him that we were finding out he said that it was 'unnatural' and 'if you were meant to know then you would have a window so you could see' :rotfl:

AF - I see you are at work  take it easy please sweetie.

astonmummy, you are not over-reacting as she needs reminding of her responsibilites to the children she is looking after. But as a mum who works in a school I would want to sit down and get to the bottom of the comment with his teacher. I listen to what is said in the staffroom and some of the problems some children have getting on with others or behaviour. And yes every single child has a lovely side to them (I don't care if anyone says otherwise) and I have a soft spot for the particularily cheeky ones, the best characters. However he is obviosly very bright and you wouldn't want sovail problems to hold him back and believe me the teachers seem to think it can, they also never actually tell the parents the full extent of what goes on. When my son started (a character) I insisted that I am told everything, none of this 'contributes well / shouts out constantly, 'confident in play / bullies kids in the playground, works well independantly / doesn't get on with others. I'm afraid it's down to you to push for a completely honest account of his school day and then say right what are we going to do to sort it out. If they say he has social problems, what are they doing for him ie: small group work. Sorry if this sounds if I'm pushy but I just love kids to be happy and believe that school issues need sorting early on, and I hate to think that some members of staff may be talking about him, grrrrr!!!

Talking of school, been to my class assembly this morning, sneaked in the back as I'm off sick. The child I work with got up on stage and performed a quick dance, NEVER EVER did we think she would do this. I CRIED!:T

    Feelie, Happy Birthday!
Too many children, too little time!!!

Just thought I would let you know that Michael McIntyre is doing an arena tour this autumn:
    http://www.offthekerb.co.uk/listings/index.php?artist=michael_mcintyre

I can't believe how big he has got over the last year - when we went to see him last year he was only playing concert halls - this year it is arenas!!!

A great night out for pregnant ladies and new mums!

  • My Aunt just rang from her hospital bed... Spoke for 18mins which is probably the shortest phone conversation we've ever had!

My baby has done nothing but roll over since last night, it's been doing it on and off all the way through but since last night it just seems to be gambolling! Starting to wedge itself under my ribs too...

Feelie, hope your birthday cheers up for you :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
