I am having strange conflicting feelings about not being pregnant anymore. Part of me is looking forward to being completely alone for the first time in a long time (say in the bath or whatever) and part of me thinks I will be very lonely without having Bubba with me 24/7 (I know I am not going to be far from him at first but he won't be inside me anymore IYSWIM).
Am I just strange??

Shop to drop i was the oldest on here till you joined us...im 39 and 40 in Aug!!
That makes me feel even more ancient. I'm 40 and will be 41 at due date. Have three boys already 12,10,7. Hubby is 45. My mum had my brother at 41 he has Downs syndrome. He's gorgeous but ofcourse that is a concern. Our other major concern is that our house is too small for the five of us and not sure if upgrading is going to be an option. The stress of moving and stretching ourselves financially may finish us both off too.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
STD (not really sure I like calling you that!!) we are a good mix of ages (I'm 32 on my first and there are a fair few older than me!)
And we have some ladies knocking around with kids in their late teens and 20's.
Sounds like you have a lot of thinking to do - these things have a habit of sorting themselves out somehow.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Thanks for the kind words. I have so often regretted the shop to drop username some people call me Shoppie maybe that's a good idea.

Shop to Drop, the news will sink in when your appointments start! About the house, there will be 5 of us in a 2 bed house, and we don't want to move.... yes we could offord it at a push but would give up all out luxuaries (like nipping into town and knowing I can spend £100 without missing a bill) and is that worth it? No, to us and you by the sounds of it! We have thought about it and can get a bedroom out the loft, so will get some quotes just now, then convert it when baby is a year old. My other kids are still young though (3 and 7). Baby will be in with you for a few months anyway. Is there anyway you could be inventive with fake walls in bedrooms???
I have decided I can't be bothered going back to college today, so I am plunking Biology. I know I can catch it up easy (I'm a star at Biology) and it's only 2 hours. The house needs cleaning and I am in the mood to do that. PLUS, I didnt get my roll and slice thismorning so have been in a stonker of a mood (I cried when I sat down at the table with a sandwich!).0 -

MFD - No it's not weird to think like that at all. I really missed my bump after I had ds1, can't really remember how I felt after ds2, apart from tired and stressed:) but this time I can't wait to get my body back, I have not enjoyed this pregnancy at all. Usually the 9mths I am pregnant is the only time I don't feel self concious about my body and actually feel a bit sexy!! This time I feel like a Hippo that has been dragged through a junk yard......
oh well, not too long to go!!
