Right - I know that this question would be better on OS but can you freeze sandwiches? Was thinking about freezing some to put in my hopsital bag (along with my frozen isotonic drinks) - I was thinking prob more for hubby than me.
And if so, what are the best type to freeze??please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Yes you can freeze sandwiches. Best to avoid water items such as lettuce, cucumber, tomato cos they will go soggy!0

Well I don't know BUT you can freeze bread and cheese and sliced ham
so I don't see why u can't freeze a ham n cheese sarnie
just a note tho they might not defrost in time, what with your quick, easy, painless birth ur planning
and a clever note have you frozen full bottles? even in the heat of the delivery suite they will take forever to melt and you'll be gasping for something so I suggest you freeze a half full bottle and top it up before you set off :cool:0 -

Congrats to Auzelia on your bouncing baby boy! :j
Welcome to the pregnancy club britonsarah :hello:
Tara - Sorry your scan was pants, I am sure you should get a printout of the results. When I was having my 12 week scan, A couple that had just had a 20 week scan were made to wait around for 30 minutes until they found her scan printout. A consultant had taken it by mistake and she was told she HAD to have the results in her maternity notes and couldn't leave till they found them. I would definitely complain, as it sounds like your sonographer needs a kick up the backside!Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

We used to have a thermometer in our freezing cold corner office that we used to threaten the boss with in the winter... Think it's something like 14degrees... Anything colder and you shouldn't be working...
And a friend of mine makes a whole terms worth of sandwiches for her childrens lunch boxes then freezes them so all she has to do is grab one out the freezer every morning...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

the rude word in the surname is its part of cockerel
I hope it isn't Cockburn! I know you don't say it how it looks, but I can't help reading it to myself how it looks. I couldn't go near a man suffering from such a condition:eek:
Also, I went to an NCT sale on Saturday. I do not know if they are any nicer anywhere else in the country (I am in London), but I found it to be a grim shopping experience. It was only 2 hours long, I arrived in the second hour and saw women leaving with bin bags full of stuff. When I got in there wasn't a lot of stuff left, oh and 'nearly new' we all know is a euphamism for 'second hand'. Nothing nearly new about a lot of the stuff that was there in the 2nd half.
I am sure you could grab a bargain if you arrived early but I coludn't imagine elbowing those women that were obviously ther on a mission. Think of Oxford street on 26th December! Also people were filling up bags, then taking them to one side to actually look through the stuff properly to decide if they wanted it.
I didn't find it to be so cheap for the quality of some items. I think for second hand prices are probably better on ebay. There were some scanadinavian designer baby grows for £5 each but they were not 'nearly new'. TK Maxx has had designer baby grows in the last few months for about £7 each, so I would definitley not buy an old used one for £5. (ok, new in a posh shop they would be £15 but I wouldn't pay that either!).
I kind of regretted going. I bought some tat but felt compelled to go away with something because hubby and I had paid £1.50 each to get in.0
