FG, if you're around... You've had to see an aneasthetist.. What happened at the appointment?
I've got mine this afternoon and don't really know what's going to happen... I'm annoyed about it really, I think it's a waste of my time and theirs... and £2.40 wasted on the bus...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Ooh Just signed DS up for his swimming lessons :j
He starts on Tuesday at 4pm, it's going to cost £17.20 a month by DD and I dont have to go in with him.
I told the instructor he's only been swimming a few times and is a bit of a pansy but he said thats fine, he's dealt with it before.
I'm well excited!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Well done AM! I'd been meaning to sign Aimee up for months then one day was walking past the pool and thought 'stuff it, might aswell do it now!' costs about £54 a term which works out at £3.74 for 30 mins... I was a bit grieved about the cost to start with but think it's worth it now she's going... And she loves it too!!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Hi everyone, Can I ask a question about benefits?
I've got this week off work and am trying to get myself prepared. Is there anything I can prepare in advance with regards to tax credits etc. As far as I can see it all has to wait until the baby is born, is that right?
Hope you're all well.

Oops, I killed the thread!
Off to bed now, but before I do, question for the 2nd+ timers..
Did you have visitors in the hospital and how soon after the birth did they come in? I mean like your parents and his parents, not random colleagues etcI have visions of my mother hovering in the car park, waiting for a phonecall!
Night night all xx
Elle - I think it depends on your hospital and what you want...at our hospital they advocate an hours uninterrupted 'skin to skin' contact where Bubba is on your bare chest (or on Dads if Mum needs looking after) - I don't want disturbing during that time so I have told my mum that she will have to wait at my house until at least an hour later... Then I don't know how it works with visiting hoursplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
jvic, there's not really a lot you can do benefit wise... Even when you know there's going to be a change in your circumstances you can't tell tax credits until after the change has occured...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Is this your first?
You cant claim TC until you have your Child benefot number, the child benefit form is in the bounty pack you get after bubs is born at the hospital, and you need to register the baby before you can get child benefit.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Ok. Thanks Krystaltips.
I've set a reminder up on the directgov website for the health in pregnancy grant (£190). That seems like all I can do at the moment.
