The nuchal fold is done at the 12wk scan, it measures the fluid in some fold in the neck I think? Its an early (but ropey) indicator of downs - I don't know much about it as I refuse to have tests like that.

Have you had ur scan app through? I can't remember, if u haven't I'd start calling on monday you should be a high priority for them considering your previous pregnancies - In fact they should be treating you like royalty!! :D

No scan appointment yet, but I did change consultant and I know they are aware of me (mw checked). But I am still getting nervous! Going to phone and throw an almighty strop! Or get a wonderful GP to do it for me :D

    Congrats Nicnak!!!! :T

Right Tara, we are forming a club, the 'If our worse halfs don't start treating us better, we can think of lots of interesting things to do with their danglies that they wont like very much at all!' or the 'bobits-to-be' :rotfl: I'm thinking of some rather nasty alkali's I know from chemistry (acids wash off easily in water whereas alkali's don't) some of them you can buy from B&Q....

I just wrote a long reply about how I just don't get how you ladies put up with so much from your OHs... but I think it ended up as "my husband is perfect" and a little patronising which wasn't the intention... :)
But seriously... how on earth do you put up with that kind of behaviour??

Just makes me even happier than I found him though :)

I was trying to think about what I do when OH upsets me, but to be honest, the only rows I can remember are of my own doing :o

He rarely does anything wrong. That can be annoying too!

    i know I'm a bit young but I'll be you two's mum if u like :D I've always wanted 4 kids!

I find it really hard to comprehend having not experienced anything like it so I hope u 2 can talk to each other about it.
Have either of you ever had any counselling for it? Might help xx

We both do, but hey, are lives are so much better than theirs anyway. My mum has no idea how well I live and how wonderful my fantastic children are. Thanks for your support and understanding, I rarely talk about her. XXX

My DH is not really that bad, just sometimes. But then I am bad too, I am crabbit (to the point of it being an olympic sport) and pone to random outbursts or sudden ranting about something silly.

mmmm-uuuhhhhhhh.... proteins and enzymes and heam groups... I hate homework......

tia, I've told my OH he's having the snip after as there is no way I'm having more. Told him I'm gonna watch, might even video it so that I can threaten to play it when his mates come round.:p
