Ooh, go on feelie, I'd like to see that... I keep comparing my bump to a friend who is 2 weeks behind me... But she's super skinny and has a perfectly formed small round bump... Her sister is 10 weeks ahead of me and my bump resembles hers more...

Sami (any anyone else looking to buy a maxi-cosi base!) - just to let you know that I have today ordered an Easyfix base for the Maxi-cosi for a fantastic £74.99 (RRP is £115!!) :D

I'm quite the little bargain hunter :D

It's an amazon market place thingy-majiggy

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000PHCQQ4/kelkoocpc-hg-misc-21/ref=asc_df_B000PHCQQ4308492

If you follow the link and then look at more buying choices on the right hand side - can't seem to get a link to the lower price for some reason???

    Hope this helps someone!

This should be the link to the Amazon one that is cheaper :)Easyfix Maxi-Cosi base

So would this fit all the maxi-cosi seats then? Infant up to a couple of years? sorry no clue abotu this AT ALL so need to ask :D

    Thanks krystaltips :-)

When does everyone start to buy stuff for the baby? I've been told its ok to buy after the 12 week scan which i've had and than i'm being told to wait till the 20 week scan to find out what it is! I'm a very organised person so i'm itching to start buying stuff in preparation!

I think it's whenever you feel comfortable... I was kind of waiting for 24 weeks... but got a couple of bits and pieces before hand... Mostly the freebie stuff and the huggies starter pack... Just recently bought half a dozen babygros... But we haven't had to buy any 'big' things because I already have a pram and a cot... and because this is my 2nd I kind of have an idea of what is a waste of time and what I probably won't use etc....

Think i'm doing ok than, i've signed up to the pampers website for the vouchers etc and i have been warned well away from huggies nappies, been told they are rubbish by numerous people, suppose it depends on the baby tho and the mum, whichever they prefer to use

I'm sorry... I read this post twice and I still don't know what it means...

Did I mention we have no car? Car seats are something I don't need to know about...

I was almost falling asleep in my curry at 8pm after making all that effort getting dressed! Might be the last time I bother :o

On a positive note, the restaurant owner gave me an extra popadom for the baby!
