dj - often things get missed or in my case (and this is just me personally) I only answer what I feel I have something to contribute to. I can't tell you it'll be ok, I can't tell you that I know how you feel, and I have gotten shot down for giving advice/support before so now I only do it for people on here that I know reasonably well. It's nothing personal against you but last time I was very upset and decided that rather than be shot down in flames again I just wouldn't bother, unless as I say I know someone to a certain degree and know they will understand...

However I am glad baby is ok and that you're ok too

 Hope that wasn't on this thread?!

DJ - I try to catch up with the thread but it's not always possible. And I don't expect anyone else to trawl through 10+ pages every day. Sorry to hear about the bleeding, glad baby is ok and hope you keep well till baby is nicely cooked.

I hate hoseasons! DH managed to get his hols moved to an earlier date (as I would be 29 weeks and that's when we expect problems to start) but... it's now the 18th May (monday) and I have an exam on the 28th, so can't do a saturday to saturday holiday and hoseasons only do sat - sat on 7 nighters!!!! ARGH!!! So now have to wait and see if he can get the sat and sun before hand off.
  • DJ - I think we are all sorry that we missed your post. It is difficult keeping up sometimes and as others have said, it can be hard to know what to say.

Please don't be upset, sometimes people just don't respond, especially when the thread is moving quickly. Are we forgiven??

    Hello everyone :D

  • Not sure if it is tiredness or hormones or both but I have been very tearful over the last few days. I just burst into tears looking at birthday cards for my mum and had to leave the shop crying :o

What's that all about then??

i am the same with those, especially one as the boy looks like our nephew. i have to turn them over.
  • I love RLT :j :j

Thing that gets me most SB is that I am not normally a super-emotional kind of person. I'm loving and kind (of course) but would be the first to poo-poo something really soppy...

So I am finding myself sobbing my heart out but at the same time being completely horrified with myself for being such a sap :rotfl:

Idid you manage to find out if said child has caught it?

Not yet. The schools were closed on Monday and Tuesday, and today they were taking the kids off our hands at the gate as we arrived, rather than letting us all mill around outside the classroom until the bell goes. I didn't see either the child or the mother, but they may have been and gone by the time I got there or vice versa. When DS gets home from school, I'll ask him if she was there today.
