Oh, they make you laugh! I told my OH I would have to give birth at Goodison Park in the middle of the game to ensure he's there - to be fair he does work at the ground on match days and has a very important job but I've told him he'll have to get cover just in case. If it's just a match on tv he can haul his !!!! off the sofa and get me to the hospital pronto!!

Am a bit gutted I'm not due in May because then OH would be off for 5 weeks in between footy seasons!

He works at Goodison - does that mean he has to support THOSE?!?

Doesn't tomorrows game go into extra time/penalties if its not decided after 90 minutes? I may be crossing my legs for a bit longer than 90 minutes.

I am thinking about the 'women giving birth up trees' comments from a few months ago when I read this!

That's my philosophy - there will always be women who are worse off than us and if that indian lady can give birth up a tree with floodwaters swirling around then us lot on here can sure as hell do it surrounded by luxury :D

Now I need to go lie down because somebody listened to my nonsensical rambling!!

He actually doesn't support them but working for them kinda makes it difficult to say he supports anyone else!!! RU a scummy RED? :rotfl:

I was brought up supporting West Ham and went to watch 'em as a kid so my heart lies with them although tbh I'll watch anyone play!

And, yes - extra time (30mins) and pens (god knows) it could be a looooong night!!!!

    Hi all

popping back in for half an hour...

My mum was 42 when she became a nan, I had ds1 a month after my 21st birthday.

SB - As soon as I had ds1 in my arms at the hospital I said I want another one. I planned a two year age gap and got it almost bang on 23mths apart. and that is because ds2 came nearly 3wks early would have been 10days off the 2yr gap if he had come on time:)

Ds2 was a bit of a nightmare baby, very clingy, very whingy, wouldn't feed, wouldn't take a dummy, wouldn't sleep!!! I Didn't really think too much about a third baby for a little while as he was such hard work!!

Mel I was 21 when I had Chris and we planned a 2.5yr age gap - bubs is due 1 month and 10 days before 2.5 mark :D

Nice to see you back Tine, sorry your journey was so bad! Aimee never liked the bus either but this one doesn't seem bothered...

Hope its the smokers and not a cold too!

Well i guess it just makes me even happier to be home in my familiar mess again :)

On the up side I don't think I have much to buy for this baby now... between my mum and step mum I think we have most things covered!
Maybe a little newborn stuff but clothes from 3 months upwards should be covered :rotfl: Ok it's all going to be Disney and childrens cartoons/characters (a lot from Denmark...) but hey - it's free! (Samples basically lol) and then my step mum has kept uhmmmm EVERYTHING from when my younger brother was born 6 years ago  Brand new junior duvet, barely used baby duvet, car seat - hardly used either, bedding sets, jackets, clothes... you name it!
Dad is buying the buggy, need car seat for my car, cot thingy for the buggy, matress for the bed and think we're inheriting a moses basket so no need to worry about that :rotfl: THINK we're sorted!

OH and changing mat lol ok so nearly there...

MrsTine - great to have you back - hope that the trip wasn't too emotional for you and baby. To cheer yourself up have a good laugh at what the snow seems to have done to the south of the country :D

How much is your excess baggage to bring that back? lmao...

Anyone got any idea what I can do Aimee for tea? She kept telling me she was hungry while I was coming round but the 2 oranges she ate to tide her over seem to of worked... She hasn't asked again...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
